“He must have wanted to express it, as his character can’t play anything.” — dir. Au Kornprom
“I was a member of the music club at my school. I was a school singer before. So I’m quite familiar with musical instruments. However, I mainly sang. I’d observed how people played different instruments and I followed them.”

Can you believe that Gaya Sa Pelikula talked about so many lgbt+ related issues as openly as it did?
Can you believe that it gave a lesson about euphemisms and how it is not shameful saying the word gay out loud? Can you believe it talked about allyship and how it’s not always done right, but that if people are willing to listen to lgbt+ people and are open to learn it is valuable? When was the last time you saw a show saying microaggression? And especially, related to how people assume that passing privilege is a good thing and shame more feminine lgbt+ people. When was the last time you heard that “you don’t look gay” is NOT a compliment as explicitly as gsp did? Can you believe it also talked about how Vlad devalued those little mundane romantic things like prom because as lgbt+ we feel those are still out of reach for us because of the hateful societies we live in? But then immidiately showed us that we can have those experiences as lgbt+ people. Can you believe how they also highlighted that coming out feels like coming home, or all the talk about Boca del Cielo which is a place that doesn’t feel real but in the end it is found, and how the show values finally being able to express yourself as lgbt+ as something to celebrate and dance to? Something freeing and beautiful?
“can you dry my hair every day?”
I posted a fanfic for the first time in like 10 years if not more (it's more for sure, shhh), I'm very stressed. 👉👈 BUT The Devil Judge managed to get me to that level of obsession and I couldn't help it (also I started writing this before last weekend and I can't handle other eps airing and making me edit stuff ok).
Here's a lil Yohan/Gaon fic I guess?
Yohan calls him in many different, often infuriating, ways. There's only one that Gaon asks for. When he's ready.
The Prayer Once upon a time, there was a boy who prayed to the stars. Now, this was not unusual, for many little boys make many different prayers. But the heavens were moved by whom this boy was praying for.
Where others prayed for their own joy, the lad was praying about another boy.
Dear heavens above the boy prayed I think I’m in love I know not what to do
Now, the angels were curious. Come boy, they said, tell us more.
The boy was startled; he didn’t think they’d hear. Bravely, he spoke his mind, and continued his prayer.

Things I loved about To My Star in no particular order:
1. That birthday dance party of literally three people. It's something a small group of friends would actually do, it's hilarious, and it's adorable.
2. While this was a short drama, the relationship didn't really feel rushed. We got to see the characters talking, hanging out, and having pretty healthy communication to be honest. With the exception of wyel, none of the Korean bls had a very natural progression to me.
3. Seo Jun
4. No but actually, I love Seo Jun. He seems selfish and carefree at first, but we pretty quickly learn that he cares a lot, is open about his feelings but also apologetic when he's in the wrong, and he's still kind to the people who have wronged him but also not a pushover. Also he's just such an adorable weirdo. And who could possibly not fall in love with that smile, not Ji Woo sir.
5. Pil Hyun being a stressed little man who has accidentally found himself in another bl drama.
6. The fact that Seo Jun communicates. He is open, he doesn't let things go unsaid, and isn't an idiot when Ji Woo does things he thinks are protecting Ji Woo. He literally tells Ji Woo that nothing he's saying makes sense when he's trying to do the "I hate you to protect you speech".
7. Both my boys are little weirdos. Seo Jun comes in with his zit thing and you're like, okay that's a thing, and then Ju Woo comes in and clips that boys nails.
8. Okay yeah, the kisses in the last couple episodes were good. They moved their mouths man, it was a pretty low bar, but they leaped over it.
9. That sequence where they're talking about how Ji Woo only owns one outfit while eating toast and then still talking about it while playing basketball. I loved it
10. Seo Jun's style. That's it, I like it. He reminds me of the bisexual sweater tiktok guy, but better dressed.
i can't stop thinking how much of a conscious effort changing pran's look was in ep 5 bc he really does look the Prettiest he has in the series and its all thru pat's eyes. just the thought of p'aof having the makeup team spend a little extra time on him so the audience would be able to fully live thru pat's experience makes me smile like. i really wonder how thoroughly they thought things out and i wouldn't put this beyond them considering how drastically different this ep has made our viewpoints on all the other characters.
