What do you think of Third (theory of love) being on the ace spectrum ?

Ohhh that’s so interesting! I’d never thought about it before, but I could totally see it!! He does mention in like... the first episode, I think? That many people are chasing after him and that he would have his pick of the litter, as it were, if it wasn’t for the fact that he was in love with Khai. I could see him being like... a demisexual? Like it’s his strong emotional bond with Khai that causes him to have sexual feelings?? 

Actually I could see him being just ace too since (if I remember correctly) he only ever talks about romantic feelings, while Khai expresses both romantic and sexual feelings for Third. And it would explain things like why Third likes to make Khai sleep on the floor, etc. Like he has strict boundaries because he’s still figuring out what he’s comfortable with in a sexual context. 

Oh man, that’s super interesting! I really like that interpretation of his character! 

can we talk about the casual intimacy of this episode? we don’t need to see kisses or bed scenes to know that sarawat and tine are two people who love and care deeply for each other. the cuddles, the grins, the excitement about moving in together, figuring out each other quirks and learning how to live with each other, opening cans of soda for each other, learning each other’s favourite dishes and ladling them out on the other’s plate, the quick cheek kisses, brushing their teeth together, sleeping in the same bed, the blushes, the fact that sarawat never pressures tine to tell his brother even when type prompts him to tell the truth multiple times… 

it shows, without doubt, that sarawat and tine are two people in their first serious relationship. that they enjoy each other’s company, that they want it to work and so they make it work. the domesticity of this episode illustrates their relationship perfectly. two toothbrushes in a cup by the sink. their posters all over the walls. the bracelets. one bed. a life shared.

honestly, hats off to bright and win and the production team for portraying sarawat and tine as two real people who love each other dearly, for keeping their private moments private, and for showing them as two very different people who want to make their relationship work. this episode showcased how real the both of them are, and it was absolutely heartwarming to see.

sorry if this has been said before, but from what we know now, yohan has been planning the move to switzerland since the beginning. in episode 4 is where the writer left the hint that ga on would be following yohan to switzerland and the overall meaning of it all is so romantic when you look at it. when i was watching, the camera/director never failed to show us that ga on never relinquished the watch, even when they were broken up or fighting. they always made sure to show us that the watch never left him.

and indeed, by ga on continually carrying the watch, he’s “living in the same time zone” as yohan; ga on never left yohan’s side. they were never apart and never will be again. so even if for now they are living in two different countries, they will always be in the same time zone as long as they have the watches.
