Hux rushes through the corridors like a black wave. He takes his place in the assembly hall - it may have been someone else's place, but now it is his. To the right and left of him are people in uniform. They grumble about something of their own.

The noise in his ears grows. Hux folds his hands in prayer. Oh, the Force, he sleeps so little because of your trials, he should forget himself for a few hours...

The officers don't stops their talks.

"Shut up!" a voice booms over them.

And silence reigns.

Hux freezes, surprised. He is shocked by this silence. For the first time in years, all voices... all imaginary mouths closed. On someone else's orders.

He lifts his head to look at the general. A tall - big - man in black looks at the audience with displeasure.

Hux's heart takes one beat less.

I've seen mcyt aus where both Grian and Jimmy are living dolls. I propose an au where watchers/listeners all have dolls or sculptures for fake bodies and their real bodies are tucked inside like hermit crabs. They fake bodies don't respawn, they have to sneak back and crawl back inside

Dream looks at Night,mare during a battle and all he can think is ‘little rebellious brother’. He uses the tone he used to when he was serious and Nightmare just sorta… deflates with an unhappy grumble.

Here my pet peeve I don’t like the trope of dream san always being the baby or act like childish or is a child in a different au and nightmare is always the overprotective brother trope or is a caretaker depending on the au or fanfiction and dream always dominate the female version while female nightmare is always used for smut or is just unlikeable in some fanfiction I read

Like, they're all sitting around talking about fun or silly things that happened in training or on patrol with Batman. And Tim is just doing his thing, reminiscing about pictures he took of Dick’s and Jason's Robin, wondering if he could take time off somewhere to get some of Damian's Robin when the others get his attention and ask about funny stories from his time as Robin. He blanks, because nothing with Batman was fun, that was why he was Robin. So he says Lady Shiva getting him ice cream once and leaves.

Or they're going over protocols for Robin to follow with Damian and Tim is just sitting there confused, because it's all stuff he got in trouble for with Batman. And when Dick or Jason tell him that “you can jump in anytime, baby bird”, Tim gets up, leaves, and returns with a surprisingly worn binder he puts down.

Then he opens it, flips to a point about a third of the way through, and turns it to face them. He points at a chart and says, “I made this when the results of your advice weren't what you said they'd be. I didn't know you were supposed to wait 3 days after fear gas exposure to go back out. Bruce didn't wait and if I didn't follow, petty thieves ended up in the ER.”Dick is horrified, Jason and Damian confused. Tim continues. “This binder has the protocols and methods I followed as Robin. I wasn't Robin to contrast Batman's shadow. I was Robin to remind Batman of his morals. I have no advice to offer Damian that is relevant to his Robin. You were offered Robin, one way or another. I had to take Robin before Batman did something he'd regret.”

jon is a dense guy though, that's why sasha and tim facepalm whenever martin makes his move and jon is just like "what the hell are you doing"

I feel like gift giving is the closest thing most of the Lukas family has to actually showing affection(except for Peter and Martin who are more open). So Martin does like gift giving to people he likes and especially so with crushes. Martin absolutely brings presents to the archive team when he comes back from trips.

But when it comes when he's interested in people he will give them gifts and tea and wait to see if they get the hint and ask him out. Martin will not be the first to ask that's too much confrontation.

Jon is delighted that Martin cares enough to give him things, but will not openly admit it and will most likely reprimand him for Martins unprofessional gestures. He will still eat the pastries and take home the rest of his gifts secretly.

Tim and Sasha are so done with Jon's behavior.

Mike is real tired of Martin's bosses behavior, mostly cause it's interrupting his and Martin's "will they, won't they" side plot he thinks is going on.
