Mikasa makes the choice to be the one to burden all her decisions alone, even if it hurts her best friend. She makes the choice to fall in love with someone, even if it destroys her in the end. also realized in the last panel, yuzuha is being treated like the younger sibling for once. mitsuya, again, knows how much burden yuzuha shouldered and is giving her the rest she deserves by being the older brother here. the older brother she never got. the older brother she shouldve gotten. the older brother she deserves.

romantic or not, i really like the bond mitsuya and yuzuha have. something that really struck this thought was mitsuya saying how much he respects yuzuha for what she has done for hakkai. they are both the older siblings to their youngers ones, are protective and caring and loving, have to bear the responsibility of being a parent at a young age. they both know what it takes to be the shield for thier younger siblings. they both know how tiring it is, how much it hurts, how much one requires energy and the patience, how much they have to sacrifice themselves for the safety and happiness of their loved ones.

i really love that mitsuya recognizes the situation yuzuha is in because he himself has been in that same situation. its saying 'i know what youve been through, ive been there before, and youre so brave for being so strong. rest now, ill take care of things from here.' and yuzuha is so happy, so relieved, for being so appreciated because for so long it was kept a secret that she was the one taking taijus punches for hakkai. now theres someone who knows how exactly it feels like.

they both love their siblings and would do it all over again if it is to ensure their happiness and safety. but in the process theyre both starving themselves of their own happiness.

i relate to them so much it hurts.

the only thing i don't like about kenma is if u shorten his name its just Ken..... and im very much against that name

the first thing that popped on my head when i saw this was Hoshi and his horanghae agenda... and lemme tell ya i think kuroo would 100% be on-board with that

Compared to the other partnerships this duo is so lighthearted and fun I almost never think much about it. Almost.

Mitsuya knew that the chances of the Haitanis pulling some sort of trick was not nil, tried to stop Hakkai from following them and could've asked for help before walking right into danger himself but instead just went with the flow. Mitsuya acts responsible for fixing Hakkai's mess, one reason being that he's older and has known his for long enough to have those kinds of feelings towards him. He rushed to Hakkai knowing that he'd be in a pinch, made sure he was okay, let him rest while he fought and Mitsuya just is that kind but it doesn't go unnoticed that he has a soft spot for Hakkai wether is be looking after him or letting him off the hook for those silly comments.

But he has never thought of Hakkai as someone who needs saving. He believes in Hakkai's strength.

Mitsuya Knows that them together are unbeatable and takes pride in their partnership. There's a blind trust of "I can always count on him" from Mitsuya's side and a "As long as Taka-chan's by my side I'm fine!" from Hakkai.

They're the ultimate "with your support I can win any fight", and I can't get enough if it.
