You post a lot of Paolo Sebastian, mainly Once Upon a Dream and The Nutcracker. Needless to say I’m hooked and I love those designs. Are there any other shows by him you loved, or maybe a similar line from someone else you could recommend?

My first introduction to Paolo Sebastian was his ‘Sleeping Garden’ collection for 2015.  I thought it was beautiful, but at that point I wasn’t obsessed.  His ‘Gilded Wings’ collection for 2017 is what made me really go back and look at his old collections and appreciate his body of work.  So, pre-dating the Once Upon a Dream collection, those are the ones that really made an impact on me. I really wish he did more runway shows because there’s something so magical about seeing his designs move.

As for designers who are similar?  Honestly, I’d feel bad giving any names because he’s truly in a league of his own. No one has come close to his collections.
