Meu grandessíssimo filho de um deus velho, seu moleque mimado: não dava pra, sei lá, escrever recado nos anéis do vovô ou enfiar à socapa uma mensagem no mapa topográfico de Alicante? Qualquer coisa servia, M. Tu que puxaste o lustro às sandálias e às asas das tuas sandálias, que ajeitaste o paletó de herói e te lavaste os pés: tu já sabias no que isso dava. Meu grande sacana, tua obrigação era subir na boca de um megafone dourado e dizer: "Cuidado rapaziada, tenham atenção a esse nó que acontece no estômago no preciso momento em que esperam por vosso amante na pracinha junto à igreja. Ou é úlcera ou é amor."

‘I am so tired of my own voice’

OMG, I read this book in my childhood (in portuguese) and never found it again! It warms my heart so much 🥺🥰

Some manó or gnomes. 

My fascination and knowledge of them comes from the beautiful book  Leven en werken van de kabouter  (Gnomes in english) written by Wil Huygen and illustrated by Rien Poortvliet.I highly recommend it for the amazing illustrations and scientific observations of the life of gnomes, it’s really an enchanting book!

about them :They’re 15 cm tall without hats, have a 400 year lifespan if I remember correctly, are very strong, benevolent creatures, but do not disrespect them or..! They help out wildlife and farms if they live there. They’re pretty illusive so sighting is very rare.
