All of these drawings are monochromatic on a light reddish grey background.

This doodle uses pre-timeskip designs. Usopp is wearing a turtleneck with short sleeves under his overalls, and Sanji is wearing a black waist coat, black pants, and his typical vertical striped button up underneath that.

Sanji and Usopp are lying on the ground as Usopp talks. Sanji has wrapped his legs and his right arm around Usopp’s torso. His right leg is in front of Usopp’s waist, slightly bent, and his left leg is bent upward and supporting Usopp’s back. His right arm lays across Usopp’s chest, and his left arm supports the back of Usopp’s head and his left hand hangs over the top of Usopp’s head. He’s digging his face into the side of Usopp’s head as he stares at him with hearts in his eyes and a love struck grin. Hearts are popping out of his head.

Usopp is staring off to the side, talking with his mouth wide open, eyes half-lidded, and a proud/slightly smug look on his face. He’s looking away from Sanji to the ceiling as he talks. His right arm holds onto Sanji’s right arm, and his left arm is bent to the side, palm at the same level as his head, and his left hand pointing up.

They both have light blush on their cheeks.

Sanji doesn’t have his suit coat in this one, but he still has his tie and belt.

He’s bringing drinks to everyone, but stops to lean over and give Usopp a kiss on the head with his eyes closed, (a heart pops out from the kiss), as Usopp is looking down at the counter and talking. He uses his left hand to lean Usopp’s head towards him, and his right to support the drinks on a plate. Usopp on the other hand, is if hot in the middle of talking. He’s looking down with a big smile as he explains something. He’s loosely holding the back of his right lower arm a bit away from his chest, and his left arm is resting on the counter and holding his slingshot up.

The second doodle is drawn way simpler. Sanji then gets embarrassed from the kiss he (emphasis: HE) initiated and covers his face with his left hand in embarrassment. Steam pops from his head. Usopp stares at him in shock, mouth gaping and blushing. Both of his arms are in raptor hand position.

“Zolu canon” I say into the mic. The crowd boos. I begin to walk off in shame when a voice from the back speaks and commands silence in the room.

“She’s right!” someone says. I look for the owner of the voice. It's Eiichiro Oda, the biggest zolu shipper.

Easily one of my favorite things about Zoro and Luffy (not necessarily in a shipping context, though *I* enjoy them in a shipping context) is the way they seem so different on a surface level - this whimsical sunshine boy captain and his big, stoic, serious right hand man - but when you actually get to know them, they’re pretty much two halves of the same weird goddamn idiot

Specifically, I love that whenever Luffy is doing / saying something totally absurd, there’s a not insignificant chance that we’re about to cut to Zoro, whether he’s two steps away or halfway across the island, doing the exact same unhinged shit, and it’s so goddamn funny every time???
