The difference between the Black brothers is Sirius gets on his tiptoes to kiss Remus.
Regulus pulls James down by his collar of his shirt to kiss him.
writing sex scenes is really funny because half the time you're like omg I'm such a god, this is the hottest thing ever written and then the other half of the time you're like oh my fucking god this is the most embarrassing thing ever written by a human, I can't let anyone see this ever.
and then you do anyway.
(After James comes out as Bisexual to the Marauders)
Sirius: I thought you were straight!
James: *points at Regulus* I thought I was too until he went and did that!
Remus: ...You just gestured to all of him.
james probably says “thank you god for this meal” before going down on regulus idk
writing tip: when in doubt, throw in a dash, a semicolon, or a minor existential crisis.

Chapter 19 of Jegulus Adventures
Pandora giggles from where she sat down beside Regulus on the couch. Then she goes silent, thinking, before she pulls out a vial. “Smell this will you?” She asks Peter. He looks confused but smells it without question.
“How did you get his cologne?” He asks incredulously.
Pandora holds up a finger, turning for Regulus. “Smell it?” She asks softly.
Regulus looks sceptical, but smells it anyway, it smells like the quidditch pitch, warmth, eukalyptus, fresh grass, a hint of wet dog or some animal. Regulus’ eyes open wide as he realises the vial did not hold a perfume or cologne of some type.
Regulus’ jaw dropped slightly, Pandora looked at him with a slight smirk. After Regulus got over the initial shock, he realised that Peter smelled Gilderoy Lockhart’s cologne. In the potion. Regulus' eyes widened once again, this time staring at Peter.
The room continued to be silent. A soft voice broke that, “Peter,” Pandora spoke. “It wasn’t cologne or perfume in the vial.”
“Then what was it?” He asked, his voice quiet and confused.
“It was amortentia.” Regulus whispered.
Peter squeaked, his eyes going instantly wide.
