Ritual For Devoting to Persephone

Keep in mind that this is just the ritual I performed to devote myself to her and that I'm still very new to this!

Materials Needed:

One Candle/Incense/Essential Oil That Reminds You of Persephone

A Sigil For Persephone Written On a Scrap Of Paper (I'll Show The Sigil I Made Later In The Post)

A Lighter/Match/Candle

A Container Of Water That Can Be Used To Extinguish A Flame

Twelve Pomegranate Seeds

Step One: Cleanse Yourself

You can cleanse yourself in whatever way feels best for you! I personally just washed my hands really well with some pomegranate scented dish soap.

Step Two: Adorn Yourself With Anything That Reminds You of Her (Optional)

I personally spent the whole day wearing colors that reminded me of her (red and purple). I also wore a flower bracelet I had dedicated to her as well as I pomegranate ring that I wear in honor of her. I also chose to veil as a devotional act to her. This is a completely optional step that I did simply to feel more connected with her.

Step Three: Light Candles and/or Incense

Defusing essential oils also works! I personally recomend anything mint, lavender, or floral scented. I lit a pomegranate scented candle I had in honor of her.

Step Four: Prayer

Say a prayer to Persephone, explaining who you are and what you intend to do. It can be as personal or as simple as you want! Call upon her to be present for the ritual and be sure to explain that you wish to become her devotee, what that means to you, and why you want to become her devotee.

Step Five: Burning the Sigil

Take a sigil made in honor of Persephone (it can be a sigil for strengthening the bond between you and Persephone, a sigil specifically for devoting yourself to Persephone, or just a sigil that invokes her, it's up to you!) And burn it before dropping it into your container of water, which should extinguish the flame of the burning sigil. This is the sigil I made and used in honor of Persephone

Step Six: Eating the Pomegranate Seeds

Take six out of the twelve pomegranate seeds and eat them, one by one, in honor of Persephone. A good thing to do would be to say one thing you are thankful to Persephone for as you eat each one! But this is not neccessary.

Step Seven: Burying the Pomegranate Seeds

Take the remaining six pomegranate seeds and bury each of them, one by one. If you can't bury them, dispose of them in some other way! Simply throwing them away is fine. A good thing to do as you do this would be to name a way you hope Persephone will help or guide you for each seed.

Step Eight: Prayer (Again)

Thank Persephone for her time and say anything else you wish to say to her!

And That's It!

You're a Persephone Devotee!

Again: This is just the ritual I did and it isn't for everyone, but I hope it helps someone!

Say Hello to NGC 6441

A crowded cluster of over a million stars packs together at the center of this image of the star cluster NGC 6441. These stars shine in white, red, blue, and yellowish hues, and grow more sporadic at the image’s edges, all glittering against a black backdrop of space. Credit: ESA/Hubble & NASA, G. Piotto

Distance from Earth: About 44,000 light-years

Object type: Globular star cluster

Discovered by: James Dunlop in 1826

Each tiny point of light in this image is its own star - and there are more than a million of them! This stunning image captured by the Hubble Telescope depicts NGC 6441, a globular cluster that weighs about 1.6 million times the mass of our Sun. Globular clusters like NGC 6441 are groups of old stars held together by their mutual gravitational attraction, appearing nearly spherical in shape due to the density of stars that comprises them. This particular cluster is one of the most massive and luminous in our Milky Way Galaxy. It is also home to a planetary nebula and four pulsars (rotating neutron stars that emit beams of radiation at steady intervals, detected when the beams are aimed at Earth).

yes, that includes aging them up. you looked at a child and thought 'man, i wanna fuck them but i cant so ill just SAY theyre 18 for a flimsy excuse'. write all the porn you want about adults, you have every right to create that content and not want teens interacting with it, but the second youre writing about even an 'aged up' child you forfeit all rights to complain about other children reading that.

So I’ve seen some people redraw the opening stills and have been wanting to do my own version for a while. I didn’t actually start until I decided to make this the worst thing ever.

They didn’t all quite turn out as well as I would’ve liked them to, but regardless of that I laughed way too much as I put this together.
