Out of Touch

A man in a black sweater sat next to me in my favorite park bench, quietly nursing a half-eaten apple. I asked him whether I could have the leftover apple, and he asked me what I am, so I replied, “A scientist.”

“Science is a testament to the banality of Entropy.” He murmured, handing me the apple. The apple was now whole and rotten. “The universe is a Goddess that no man can date for long. All will be forgotten, you and all others.”

He handed me the apple again. It was half-eaten and fresh again.

“You don’t have to go to Heaven to win a war. So don’t be evil; be a fool and nothing more.”

Then I woke up.

So I reread Like a Butterfly (a webtoon?/ comic/ manhua?/ idk it’s a comic and I think the authors Korean) and had a lot of fun redrawing the main grandpa

i feel like we don’t talk about things like this enough
