Part of me wants to write traditional, serious fantasy with serious lines in serious situations, and the other part of me just wants to write “I really don’t feel like this is the time for a quarterly review” as one of my pov characters runs from an army of the dead who are only partially on fire when they should be ash

The real horror of The Magnus Archives is having to listen to your favorite characters breaking down live on tape and sobbing their eyes out. You can’t reach them. You can’t hug them. You can’t even make them tea. 

I’m working on a request, but I didn’t take the right laptop with all the pics home for the holidays. So here’s a moodboard for my own Victoria, who’s dangerous, beautiful and painfully wrong.

Summer update

Tomorrow, I am leaving to enjoy a three week holiday, with a notebook, but without internet. I will be out of reach for a while, but do keep sending me messages and requests! Everything I have received so far has made me very happy, and I do believe it will continue that way :D. When I get back, I’ll start with the first in line. Have a great summer, everybody!

For Tin: If you've ever had any 'paranormal' experiences, which ones stand out the most? (Sorry if this is kinda irrelevant to the world, I'm not too familiar with your WiP yet so I don't know how prevalent paranormal occurrences are 😅)

Tin: I’ve never met a ghost, if that’s what you are asking. But I don’t see why everyone insists on hanging out in empty buildings and graveyards all the time. I prefer to not take the risk of getting into a fight with something I can’t shoot.(There is magic in my world, but this is not experienced as ‘paranormal‘ by the inhabitants. Though the paranormal does not really exist in this world, it is reffered to as ‘the occult‘ and some people do believe in it).
