Part 4 of my Impera ghoul designs: Swiss and Mountain. These two were the hardest for me to figure out but hopefully, they turned out alright Previous designs: Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 Headcanons under the cut:

Mountain

During the Prequelle era he had long hair and it was occasionally braided by the ghoulettes. Once Impera came, he decided to cut it so it wouldn't get in the way while he worked (Swiss held a funeral for the loss)

Flowers grow on his horns during the spring

He wears different pants to accommodate his hooves and help him move easily while drumming, it's tailored to look like the regular ghoul uniform

His biggest weakness: Freshly waxed floors

Swiss

His eyes are hidden most of the time but the Siblings are advised not to look directly at his eyes specifically

Styles his hair in multiple ways after finding a fashion magazine

Very silent when he moves, Copia got so sick of getting jumpscared by the ghoul that he placed bells by the end of his tail. Swiss thinks it's funny and uses the bells to annoy him instead by constantly jingling them

My two major thoughts following yesterdays manchester show is #1 how perpetua hiMSELF just before the start of ritual said “take it away, dew” so uhhh i guess that debate is settled??? Also i made direct eye contact with phantom and i felt embarrassed like id accidentally made eye contact with a stranger like oops sorry didnt mean to do that

ok this is nowhere near finished but im currently designing tempest (aka nimbus and haze but im calling her tempest) and i had the most breathtaking, gorgeous design idea.

flying gurnard. i was looking for flying fish (air/water is what I'm going for) and this was the prettiest one i saw. i don't think it actually flies though

but LOOK AT IT.

the spots and frills would look AMAZING on her... not to mention the colors i could incorporate

this is the current draft, not sure if that's how it'll stay but i had to stop in my tracks because i KNEW I was cooking

least fav thing: this is a bit like iceberg woobification in the sense that ive seen more people complain about it than it actually happening but the like tumblr personnel fandom specifically affords him very little compassion sometimes I feel. He ends up in a very antagonistic role to many rlly beloved characters (absent father to alison, “bad boyfriend” to iceberg, shot kondraki in the head) so I get why but have you considered: He is actually the foundations poorest most pathetic wet meow meow employee

BrOTP: Him and kpc have such a like. Quietly sad dynamic my all time favorite take on them comes from this scrapped resurrection (sorry) tale. They are two people who are fucked up beyond belief and inextricably tied up in the foundation to the point its all theyll ever amount to; Crow is dying and Gears took up veterinary medicine so he can do it it gracefully. They are building robots about it

random headcanon: WILL get terrifyingly focused on anything he sets his mind to everyone is so lucky hes wrapped up in foundation work 90% of the time because if he got into anything more benign he would slay fucking penis at it. His houseplants are thriving.
