This is my compromise to the current situation regarding Shubble and the speculation surrounding Wilbur. This is coming from a fanfiction writer who has always, and always will, see the CCs as nothing more than voice actors for their characters. Buckle in, this is going to be a long one. But please read all the way through. If you don't know, recently Shubble came forward with a video about how she was in an abusive relationship. And she dropped some hints because she wants people to speculate about who it is. Wants to make sure that a person with bad intentions can't get away with more bad things. A lot of people are speculating that, due to said hints and previously established crush that he had on her, Wilbur is the person who abused her. Now personally? I do not believe this. It's hard for me to believe that Wilbur would do something like that. I don't like the idea of hopping on the hate train or immediately jumping to cancel someone. So I will be waiting for real facts and confirmation before saying anything regarding the CC. A lot of the speculation doesn't make sense to me logically and I also never got the chance to see the video before it was deleted. This is not me calling Shubble a liar. I 100% believe her and my heart goes out to her completely. She doesn't deserve being treated horribly, nobody does. The situation I'm hearing she went through is a wretched thing and I will not TOLERATE people insulting her or saying that she should just say who it was. That shit is not okay and never will be okay. HOWEVER! I will NOT stop writing Wilbur's character. A little fact about me is that when I came into this fandom, it wasn't because I watched the CCs. It wasn't because I was interested in MCYT. The reason I came here was because a very close friend of mine asked me to cowrite a fic with them. At the time the only fandom we really shared even vaguely was DSMP. I knew very little about it but I knew some things. I let my friend choose the ship. They chose TNT Duo. And it's thanks to that friend that I wrote Arsonist's Waltz. That I started to adore Quackbur and wrote my most well known fic, You Were Never Meant to be a Hero. And thanks to YWNMTBAH I made so many cherished friends. It's all because of these two little characters that still have me in a chokehold even though I've been writing them for quite some time now. And that's why I can't simply let go of Wilbur's character. But regardless of my ability to separate the Cs from the CCs, for some people that distinction is harder. The CCs to me are just glorified voice actors. For other people it's harder. They can separate the characters from the content creators just fine, but this situation hits them close to home. And it hurts. So, this is my proposed solution, brought to my attention by a friend who was heavily affected by this situation, but loved the work she was doing and didn't want to have to let it go. C!Wilbur doesn't have an actual canon design. When you think about it, the only thing we have to go off of is his Minecraft skin. Something that, when you think about it, doesn't tell us much about the character at all. There is no canon design because most of what we see as "canon" is based on the CC, not the character himself. When you look at c!Wilbur, the skin, does he have an eye color? Do we know his height? What about his hair length? His build? What do we actually know about this character outside of the clothing on his back and the personality his actor gave him? And when you make an AU everything changes. From now on? My c!Wilbur design that I'll use as a baseline for most of my fics is a 6ft man with heterochromia. One eye blue, the other teal. He's going to have brown curly hair that dips just below his shoulders and a light scar over one of his eyes. Sometimes he'll have freckles because what the fuck can we tell from a Minecraft skin anyways? He wears black nail polish because why not? Slay.

I already treated him and c!Quackity like glorified OCs already. Why not further OC the glorified OCs? So what if they aren't a faithful adaptation? How can anyone say what is and isn't "faithful" when we're talking about BLOCK MEN. Make them eldritch. Make them supernatural. Make them whatever kind of hybrid you want them to be! I'll die on my Magpie!Wilbur and Shrike!Quackity hill! Give them different eye colors and let them dye their hair sometimes, I'm going to make the white streak PINK because TWINS DUO and CHERRY BLOSSOM TRIPLETS! Give your Phantom!Wilburs green eyes and glowing blood! Give your Shapeshifter!Wilburs more hair and eye colors! Do what you want because the character has no actual canon design. Go wild with your AUs and remember that you're doing this for fun. For your enjoyment. Don't conform to what someone else wants from you just because your adaption, your interpretation, "isn't the real Wilbur". The characters are what we make them. Because the reality of the situation? They are literally just blocks in a cube game. There is no canon design. Don't let the actions of some asshole ruin what you love.

I've seen a lot of fics disappear from my bookmarks, some 10+ years old, because they were added to an unrevealed collection. It makes me wonder if people realize what your fic being added to a collection actually means and if the authors approved it automatically without realizing what would happen.

If someone adds your fic to their collection, they can hide it! They can mark the collection as unrevealed and your fic will be unreadable to anyone other than them! If you're writing works for a surprise event, like a Secret Santa, this is really nice.

But if you're just writing and someone adds your fic to a collection for their own personal use and marks it as unrevealed, that. . . really sucks.

I bookmarked this fic in 2017, almost 5 years ago. Knowing me, the fic itself was probably at least a couple years old at the time I bookmarked it.

This is a 5+ year old fic that is completely inaccessible now because it was added to a collection that, as far as I can tell, is literally just for the collection owner's own reference. There's almost 30 fics in the collection, all of them unrevealed.

Please don't blindly accept collection requests and if your works ARE in a collection, make sure that they aren't being hidden without your knowledge or consent.

—Primero tendríamos que reemplazar las mordidas ya que a mí no me gustan, se siente demasiado violento de hacerle a una persona. Por lo que se me ocurrió reemplazar las mordidas con Tatuajes realizados con una tinta especial donde quedan impregnados los aromas combinados en ella, haciendo así que ambos tengan la opción de querer tatuárselos para quedar unidos, también una vez hecho el tatuaje se ilumina al unir ambas partes, dándole un brillo suave.

Dando así la opción de que ese "reclamo" sea reciproco en ambas partes de la relación, esto también pasa con los diseños de los tatuajes, ya que pueden ser un diseño conjunto como el ying y el yang, el sol y la luna, un cometa y una estrella, etc.

— Segundo, el tema de los celos, siento que se pone mucho énfasis en que los omegas son vulnerables cuando están en celo, y eso hace que se romantice la violación en algunos aspectos. Mk the Chaos King (AU/Theory)

To start this off, I need to give some context. Season four spoilers are advised. 

First off the Scrolls. The Scrolls also known as the book of death, are items used to punish criminals and well sinners. It’s a device that meant to make people reflect on their past mistakes. The ones who protect and use these scrolls are the Ten Kings. 

Each King has a different role to play. The theory is that Mk was one of them. Specifically the fifth. The fifth King is known as the son of heaven, and is the most powerful of all of the kings (from what I researched) his rank is so high is basically that next to an emperor. And I know that seems a bit extreme considering it’s Mk we are talking about. But after season four you can’t tell me this boy isn’t that powerful! 

Especially when Mk legitimately slapped Azure with is tail and caused Azure Lion (This guy who is the size and the power of the jade emperor himself) to go flying. 

(Not to mention Mk’s Chinese name Qi Xiaotain means little heaven.) 

So it’s safe to assume there is something more to Mk then just Monkey Kings Successor. 

Furthermore Mk’s flash back. I’m his flashback of very short cut memories. You can see a goddess who I am guess is the creator goddess Nuwa because she creates beings out of clay and she is holding a clay statue of Monkey Mk. 

Mk isn’t the only statue we see. There are nine others. Each a different animal: Bear, Bird, Mouse or Rat, Rabbit, Ox/Bull, Horse, Pig, Turtle, and Goat. As well as another monkey statue (but I will get into that later) 

Each that can represent a different king. Especially the Bull/Ox and Horse considering in Chinese mythology there are two underworlders who are call Oxhead and horseface.  

Now the interesting part. Mk’s title Harbinger of Chaos. This fits with him being one of the ten kings. First it’s the scroll itself. Due to Mk having no memories or no name of who he once was the only thing the scroll has anything to go off of is what he was entirely, a being of chaos. Which is exactly what the kings are. The kings are designed one person, cause chaos. They were meant to torture and plunder criminals. That’s their job, as they are originally titled the ten kings of hell. 

And Mk fits the Fifth Kings role perfectly. The fifth kings duty is to past judgement. The king gives the criminals to reflect on what they have done and then proceeds to give them karma. 

Mk has technically already done this. First the Demon Bull king. DBK was originally put under the mountain as punishment for basically becoming a tyrant ruler. When he is freed he tries to go right back to that, not learning his lesson. Mk gives him karma by remaking the exact same punishment as before as a way to basically make DBK reflect and realize that nothing has changed. Which takes two seasons for him to figure out but it still works. 

Second Spider Queen. Mk doesn’t really say anything to her speech like. However his entire presence seemed to make her reflect on her actions. And then theres the dialogue he had for Macaque. 

“I was meant to rule. I was, I would've been a good queen.”

“Well, I mean, that's definitely not true. You were in charge for like, a day, and it was, ah, it was so bad.” 

Season 2, 72 Transformations 

“Then be a warrior.” 

Season 3, Destiny Fulfilled 

Then there’s the Lady Bone Demon. Obviously there’s the magic of friendship speech he gives while also destroying her with his giant staff. But I more want to focus on their last conversation. Because I believe this wasn’t her trying to mess with him. It’s her confessing on what she did wrong. 

“So it would seem. Know this monkey, you and I are not so different. We both fight for what we think is right, that pursuit only leads to one thing.”

“, to destiny right?”

“No. To pain.” 

Season 3, Destiny Fulfilled 

This is LBD’s reflecting and confessing her sins. She believed just like Azure that she was doing the right thing. But she was blinded by the negativity and her desire for Destiny that she didn’t realize that she was causing more pain. It’s almost as if she knew who Mk really was (this a speculation in all honesty I’m not sure) and that if she didn’t confess now before she died completely she would have been thrown into one of the scrolls. 

Lastly is Azure. This doesn’t need much explanation. Most of the dialogue MK says during his fight with Azure says it all. 

“That's who you were pretending to be right? To be my friend? To care about me? When really, you were just USING me to get what YOU wanted! To turn me against my own mentor.” 

“Put your hands in the monkey cage, expect to get bit son!”

Season 4, Emperors Wrath? 

This whole fight was Mk’s role shedding light. Making AL reflect on his actions while also giving him a karma beat down. And at the end with Mk present, he confesses before fixing his wrongdoings and dying. Sad. 

Since I don’t have a lot towards my theory. Trust me this was very little info on the ten kings. I can’t seem to find proper names for any of them. I have decided to make it an AU. Because In all honest I like this too much to not make it an AU. 

The AU is basically this. After season 4 Mk has been out of it. Guilt for Azure and scared of himself after seeing how powerful his monkey self was. But it’s not enough to take away his curiosity. Ever since his time in the scroll he has been confused on who he is. What he is. Until he comes across a women who seems familiar. Too familiar….

Remember the other monkey statue. Well it’s said that the fifth king has a twin sister. 

Being a ghost meant that Quackity had seen a lot of strange bullshit.

Demons, angels, fae, and other monsters that went unnoticed when he was a human.

Still, he had no idea what the fuck Wilbur was.

The tall… creature… wore a cloak make of moss and had giant branch-like horns that came out of his head. Black roses that drained the life force of anything that touched them sprouted wherever he walked, and green spores filled the air around him. He was a creature of the forest, Gaia’s revenge in a physical form.

He was also a dork that was obsessed with geography and liked to sing.

Even if his voices echoed like a chorus.

I had this Idea for a while

So in this AU Wilbur is a paranormal investigator because he had a link to something that came out of a ouija board because he didn't close the session.

For context, Techno didn´t belive on the paranormal but Wilbur did belive because some pretty strange stuff happend to him, they were seven years old and fourteen years old respectively. So when they used the board and nothing happend Techno leaves the session without telling Wilbur how to close the session.

Since then Wilbur begins to experience some weird stuff more frequently, shadow figures, objects being moved, scratches and also hearing voices.

But the most horrified expirence was when he was eight , he got stuck in the basement and he heard someone running towards him, fortunately he was able to exit the basement.

He did become a paranormal invesgator when he was fourteen, because he wanted to get rid of his attachemnt. And since then he has a journal where he has al his spirit sessions and the ghosts that he did encounter.

I little idea that I had while talking to a friend

Sooo in the QSMP canon there's Missasinfonia, a person that the fandom theorizes is the son of the Catrina, also known as the Aztec goddess of death.

So Missa is a musician, and also is prone to non violence, and what person in the SBI is prone to not be violent at first and also is a musician? Wilbur Soot. So I had this thought, what if Wilbur Soot was the son of Missa? Like Wilbur was a gift that Catrina gave to Missa.

So Wilbur lived his early childhood with Missa, but then he got lost in the Hypixel and had an accident that gave him amnesia. He lived in Hypixel as a child for some days, until he met Philza Minecraft, the angel of death, and he got adopted.

Wilbur discovers this in the last bit of the DSMP, when he begins to regain some memories of his early childhood and begins to question himself as part of the SBI family, so he asks Phil about it and then he's a little nervous and starts giving him some clues about his real family.

I'm positive someone has already pointed this out but the similarities are UNCANNY
