forgive me for my shitty ramblings but i suppose it kinda depends on the person??? i think i started liking smopkins the moment i saw some ship art a couple years back and my initial reaction was “haha funny crack ship go brrrr”. then it just became unironic for reasons i’m also not sure about ^^”

So she’s spoiled, catty, and demanding — we all know that much.  However, Pinky is possibly the most humane member of the Preps, even more-so than Parker.

As Parker is still ashamed of admitting that he’s capable of decent behavior, Pinky makes no effort to hide the fact that she has an interest in lower class people.  (One line even states that she donates her old clothes to less fortunate girls.) 

She makes a genuine effort to understand the people who were born with much less privilege.  Keep in mind, this goes against absolutely everything she was taught growing up.  It’s nearly blasphemy in the Preps clique. 

Plus, she’s probably aware that her place in the clique is solid due to her relations to Derby.  She can use her power to abuse others like the rest of them do, but she doesn’t. 

Similarly to Mandy, Pinky is a bitch with a heart of gold.

Peanut is such a cutie pie.

I noticed how if Jimmy goes up to someone and greet them twice (with a respect level of 100%) they'll either be intimidated and/or start sucking up to him.

Peanut is one of the few characters that don't do either. He'll be kind to Jimmy, telling him "Let me help you like Johnny helped me." Or "Any time you need something, just ask me!". Peanut is loyal and sweet, he actually views Jimmy as real friend the same way Johnny and (some of) the other greasers too.

The end of chapter 5 got everybody feeling like
