You know what? I do see the difference! The guy on the left is awarding Ellen with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. That’s an award given to American citizens. The guy on the right is giving a veteran the Presidential Medal of Honor, an award given to soldiers who serve their country. Obama gave out Medals of Honor to dozens of soldiers. So it is really weird that they chose to use a photo of him with Ellen instead of one any of those. It’s almost as if they were intentionally making an unfair comparison in order to confirm the biases of the uneducated rubes who trust Facebook memes more than actual news. Fun Fact: That veteran served in Vietnam, a war that the current commander in chief deferred from serving in FIVE TIMES because he had painful “bone spurs.” The president heroically overcame that obstacle the second the draft was over, and now he can even play golf 2-3 times a week instead of doing the job he was elected to do. Aretha Franklin, The Queen Of Soul, Has Died At 76

The music icon was the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and won 18 Grammy Awards.

Aretha Franklin, the undisputed Queen of Soul and a music legend who enjoyed a career longer than many of her successors, died Thursday. She was 76.

Her publicist, Gwendolyn Quinn, confirmed her death to BuzzFeed News in a statement, saying she died at her home in Detroit at 9:50 a.m. local time. The cause of death was advanced pancreatic cancer of the neuroendocrine type.

“In one of the darkest moments of our lives, we are not able to find the appropriate words to express the pain in our heart,“ her family said in a statement. “We have lost the matriarch and rock of our family.”

The family also said they had been "deeply touched” by the outpouring of love and support they had received in recent days, after word first emerged the singer had fallen ill.

“We have felt your love for Aretha and it brings us comfort to know that her legacy will live on,” they said.

No other vocalist has reached the heights Franklin did during her monumental career. She is the most charted female singer in Billboard history, the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the winner of 18 Grammy Awards, and the “greatest singer of all time,” according to Rolling Stone.

For some reason a bird speaking Japanese is mildly off putting.

Recently, LeBron James bought a super mansion for 23 million dollars. 

A Lamborghini Venano is 4.5 million. 

This private island in the Bahamas cost 20 million.

This Private Jet- a Bombardier Lear Jet is 3 million.

The most expensive horse ever sold was 9 million.

This loft mansion in New York is 43 million.

So, you could buy LeBron James’s mansion, a Lamborghini, a private island, a private jet, the most expensive horse ever, and a loft mansion in New York, and it would all cost you 102 million dollars. 

With a BILLION? You could do that nearly 10 more times (You’d have to forgo the 10th Mansion, OR the 10th private island to stay in budget.) 

So no. No one needs that. No one needs enough wealth to own 9 mansions, 10 Lamborghinis, 10 private jets, 10 of the most expensive horses ever to exist, and 10 loft mansions in New York. 

No one needs a billion dollars.
