ok so like. i understand that this wouldn't work with the OfA/AfO plot at all. but i started rewatching MHA and i wanna develop an AU where all might still takes midoriya under his wing and helps him train and stuff but there's no quirk inheriting. i want midoriya to get in really good shape, and pass the UA entrance exam by analyzing the quirks around him and using Normal Human Strength, and then actually become the first quirkless student at UA. his hero costume includes a visor with a HUD and like an optical zoom portion for better observation and analysis, as well as armor and some basic weapons for self-defense, but he's primarily a tactician hero and directs his classmates the way he already does, just... without having a quirk. let him actually Be Quirkless. the only superpower this boy needs is autism.
