I think Jayce would be no.1 Jayce hater
There’s something terribly poetic in the inevitability of events in EPIC. The choices Odysseus is given lead to no win situations. They aren’t really choices at all.
Kill a foe’s child or witness the death of your own. Sacrifice six men or sacrifice them all. Allow your crew to starve or watch as they slaughter sacred cattle.
Sacrifice your friends, your brothers, or give up your last chance at reaching home.
In the end, the result is always the same. He destroys himself
some type of deja-vú….
draft dodging via intertwining yourself so heavily with the story that you cannot be removed without fundamentally altering it
stop haunting the narrative we need you in the War

I already love this Vastaya from Arcane :)
Jason and Bruce are out late one night in Gotham as civilians. They get cornered by a mugger and Jason nearly pisses himself, he’s so amused. He teases the would-be mugger about their hand placement, even tries to goad the mugger into a fight because he’s Red Hood. He can disarm anyone in seconds. It doesn’t matter if you have a gun — he has two.
He’s Red Hood, and he has the literal Bat of Gotham standing behind him like a wall of muscle. They’re as close to invincible as humans get, in this town. And that kind of confidence scares off their would-be mugger.
But then Jason turns around, a smile stretching across his face, and Bruce is white. Bone white and so so quiet, eyes wide and trained on where the mugger had been standing.

Master Kenobi. "He's quite intimidating, isn't he? Even for a Jedi." (p.152)
bail organa and padmé amidala both agree on this, and they're both senators and planetary leaders. can you even imagine what regular people think when obi-wan kenobi turns up? like we all know anakin is scary because he's a loose unit but obi-wan is probably the more intimidating of the two outside of situations where anakin is able to growl and swing his lightsaber about. anakin's cringefail social skills got nothing on obi-wan's immaculate politeness and devastatingly piercing blue eyes. anakin is combat scary, but obi-wan is regular scary.
idk man i am imagining the Team rolling up to some fancy gala and it's definitely obi-wan who's making people sweat. anakin has spilled sauce down his shirt and is making overenthusiastic nerd conversation, meanwhile obi-wan is gliding around all stoic and serene and scattering people like pigeons at the park
it wasn't all bad, was it?
There's something so perverse about how Jayce is paraded around in white and red and gold when his House colors are clearly shades of blues and browns.
Especially because the more he is used and controlled by the council as a whole, the more he is plastered about as some figurehead or poster boy of Piltover's progresses, the more he is draped in the gilding of false colors.
We actually never get to see him wearing his own House colors past his flashback with the mage, in which the majority of his little outfit is made up of the more humble color scheme.
The only thing he actually still owns in his house colors is the blanket he gives to Viktor, which can be seen in his childhood room and is made of the same material his mother wore during the blizzard for warmth.
Edit to add:
I'm adding this to the original post so y'all don't assume I just didn't analyze the literal BEST Jayce outfit in the whole series.
It's a mourning shroud.
While the highlights may have some blue to them (blue highlighting is very common in animation to keep things from looking dull or muddy) the midtone on his shirt is actually in the yellow field.
Also, no. The Talis House symbol is not red. It's brown and gold (sometimes with white).
Any red relating to the Talis symbol is BECAUSE of the color corruption of Jayce, not in spite of it.
The outfit still has meaning, but as I said in the post, he NEVER goes back to his family colors after being paraded around in the red, gold, and white.
This outfit is black, red, and silver. His armor is black and gold with an off white coat (to show that he's still doing this in a way for Piltover as well, probably.)
It's and end and new beginning. It's a rebirth.
Not a return.
