Three of my favorite flag designs from my fundraiser. The top and bottom make use of old open source prints, the middle is all NASA photography.
As usual EVERYTHING I RAISE is for my best friend to support his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries.
You can find these designs in my shop HERE. To see a design on different products click on the display product and scroll down or go here to browse by design. Here's a sample of a few of my other designs:
Thank you to everyone who has helped out so far! We greatly appreciate all the support, and we hope you are enjoying your purchases.
For those who haven't seen my posts yet, my best friend (the best person I have EVER known) is Palestinian, and a lot of his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. ALL PROCEEDS from these designs will go first and foremost to helping his girlfriend afford to join him in America safely, and after that helping his other loved ones weather this war.
These two doves with keffiyehs have been my most popular designs so far. Thank you to the customer who bought the latter on a pin today, and thank you to everyone who has contributed so far! These designs (and a bunch more) can be found here. Available on stickers, shirts, pins, prints, etc (click on each to see more product options).
I also have a couple variants on the second dove waiting for Redbubble's approval, I will post those when they appear.
We're hopeful that the ceasefire will mitigate the harm being done to my friend's family going forward. He's already had some loved ones hurt that this money can help so for now I will continue the fundraising (plus we do not feel safe hoping that the ceasefire will last, unfortunately). For now his girlfriend has remained safe and financial planning for her trip here is going okay. Most of his immediate family is okay (extended family and friends not entirely so unfortunately). I will keep these updates somewhat vague to protect their privacy. We greatly appreciate all your help!
Sorry I have neglected the fundraiser so much this week, my research has been kicking my ass. I have no idea how the friend I am fundraising for is managing grad school on top of his activism and supporting his family in the face of genocide, I'm struggling to keep up just helping him out. He's like an actual genius scientist though, he's amazing. I do have a couple new designs up now, here's one of them:
It can be found in my shop here on a bunch of different products. Some examples:
You can find my full shop here. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far! Some examples of some of my other stuff, shown here on stickers:
Design cut from from "Traitรฉ historique et pratique de la gravure en bois" by Jean Michel Papillon, 1766. I really prefer this one on the notebooks (pictured here) and stickers! Shop:ย https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/152993630
I added the keffiyeh I drew for my dove design to this simple bird silhouette.
As usual, ALL PROCEEDS from this design are for my Palestinian best friend, to help his girlfriend afford to join him safely in America and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries.
You can find this design here, available on shirts, stickers, pins, mugs, etc. All designs found here (Redbubble will show you a random product, click on each to see more product options).
Here are the original dove I drew and the Palestine sunbird I also drew that use the same keffiyeh:
Both drawings come in a few different varieties (colors, details), see the shop for all options.
Thank you to everyone who has helped out so far!
This poem, If We Must Die by Claude McKay was written during the Red Summer, 1919. It has since been adopted to represent many groups facing persecution. I pair it here with a field of poppies and a faint keffiyeh pattern, emblematic of the Palestinian struggle. I may make a more elaborate version in the future, I have some ideas. For now, this is available on stickers, shirts, prints, etc.
As usual, ALL PROCEEDS from this are for my Palestinian best friend, to help his girlfriend afford to join him safely in America and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. You can find this design here. All designs here. By the way you can change the color on the shirts if you don't like the white background.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed!
The watermelon first emerged as a symbol of Palestine after the six day war in 1967. Israel made public displays of the Palestinian flag illegal so Palestinians would circumvent the ban by using the watermelon, which has the same four colors. I figured it was about time I added a watermelon to my collection, it seems like every shop in this niche has their own version of it. Also the friend I am fundraising for absolutely adores watermelon, he'll eat a whole big one a day during the summer. We grabbed one last second for a hike one time and ate the whole thing with our bare hands out in the woods, it's a really nice memory. So this seems extra fitting.
As usual, ALL PROCEEDS from this design are for this Palestinian friend, to help his girlfriend afford to join him safely in America and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries.
You can buy this designs on various products (shirts, stickers, etc) here. All designs found here (Redbubble will show you a random product, click on each to see more product options).
I would also like to continue to advertise this poppy and this keffiyeh wearing kitten, since they have rapidly become some of my best sellers:
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped out so far!
I made a second pixel art design for my fundraising shop, found here. It's a woman with a keffiyeh and a Palestinian dress featuring tatreez embroidery. It was made with stickers in mind but it is available on a lot of products. The original (below) is found here.
As usual, ALL PROCEEDS from my designs are for my Palestinian best friend, to help him support his girlfriend in remaining safely in America until things calm down and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with.
All my designs can be found here (Redbubble will display them on a random product, click on each to see more product options such as shirts, stickers, pins, bags, etc). Edit: collections cap out at 100 products apparently, so from now on see my full range of designs here on my main page (I have temporarily removed all designs not related to Palestine).
Here are some examples of products with this design. Once I have a few more pixel art things I'll put some of them together in a sticker pack for people who want small versions (extra tiny stickers seem to me to suite this art style well).
Thank you to everyone who has helped out so far! We greatly appreciate it.
Photos of a couple of my fundraiser stickers I was sent from a college campus. Nice to see them being used!
ALL PROCEEDS from my shop are for my best friend who is Palestinian. The extra income will help him support his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with.
You can find these stickers and many other things in my shop here. To see a design on different products click on the display product and scroll down or go here to browse by design. Stickers tend to be the most popular but my work is also available on many other products (shirts, bags, magnets, pins, notebooks, mugs, etc). The available selection will vary depending on the design.
Here is a sample of some of my work and the various products it can be printed on:
Thank you to everyone who has helped out so far! And a special thank you to whoever bought that huge order of 90 stickers a few days ago! We greatly appreciate your support and hope you are enjoying your products.
I had a black and white version of this design in the fundraiser already, I added this tie dye one here. As usual EVERYTHING I RAISE is for my best friend who is Palestinian to help him support his loved ones. You may also feel free to use any of my designs for your own activism (or profile photos or whatever else), just please don't try to sell my designs yourself. Here are some examples of this design on products (shirts, hat, bag, sticker):
You can find all my work in my shop HERE. To see a design on different products click on the display product and scroll down or go here to browse by design. Here's a small sample of my other work:
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me support my friend!
I added a third skin color option to this older design, found here. These were mostly made with stickers in mind but are available on other products as well. The accent nails are a Palestinian flag and keffiyeh pattern.
ALL PROCEEDS from my designs go to my Palestinian best friend to help him support his girlfriend in remaining safely in America until things calm down and to help his other loved ones around the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He plans on donating anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with. You can find all my designs here. Redbubble will display with a random product, click on it to see all product options (stickers, shirts, etc).
Thank you to everyone who has helped out so far!
Starving grad student running a small Redbubble shop (initially for side income, now for fundraising for my Palestinian friend). Made this blog to share my designs, found here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/fairiedance/shopMy best friend (an absolutely brilliant scientist and compassionate social activist, seriously the best person ever) is a Palestinian grad student studying in America, and a lot of his friends and family are being affected by the genocide in Gaza and the fallout in the West Bank and surrounding areas. I have started selling Palestine related designs in my shop. EVERYTHING I RAISE he sends to his loved ones to help in various ways as the situation progresses.Designs not related to Palestine have been removed from my shop for now (probably for good at this point).
