To answer your question about why Rhaenyra didn't refuse Alicent's "request" (and Tumblr won't let me directly reply to you😤) Rhaenyra didn't want to give Alicent the satisfaction of refusing to see her, it's why she tried to refuse Laenor's help at first, she did not want Alicent to see her in pain.
