Why You Should Read The Deadly 7 by Garth Jennings
It has a great plot. It’s basically about a boy who tries to save his sister with the help of his monster friends.
2. The characters are very well-written. Nelson is a very likable and relatable protagonist. He also has the best character development.
3. The character dynamics in the book are great. I loved how even though there were times where Nelson was absolutely done with his monsters, he still genuinely cares about them.
4. It has amazing lore. I won’t spoil too much about it, but let’s just say it takes huge inspiration from Christian lore.

Athena= DBK (Since Annabeth’s father might’ve dabbled in aircraft practice, so I’m putting PIF as her dad, not sure who’s Red Son’s stepfather, probably just some random character I’ll make up)
Luke= Bai He
Hermes= Mayor (Yes I changed it)
Zeus= Jade Emperor (Reason? Both are like the head gods so it be wrong not to)
Hades= Macaque (You know why)
Grover= Mei
Dionysus= Zhu Bajie
Paul= Pigsy (It was a suggestion from someone and honestly yeah)
Bianca= Savage
Nico= Rumble
