Double Life: Complete CONFUSION

What’s this? A double life anniversary? Seems a perfect time for another thumbnail then!

3/6 of my PearlescentMoon Double Life Thumbnail series for my Illustration class. Episode 3 was full of so many fun moments, but I really wanted to paint Revenge. I also love the composition, as Pearl is between Scott and Cleo’s house!

Each illustration is sketched in red colored pencil, colored with watercolor and gouache, and lined with red ink. For this project, I focused on different coloring and shading techniques.

First post as a college grad! I've been wanting to share a look into one of my portfolio projects.

Spiderbit Week Day 1

Prompt: Cooking, but it’s just Cellbit and his spread coffee addiction. All the man drinks is coffee, so here he is making a cup with Roier and Pepito.

hope model is finished! :D i gave her a little red flower crown since i remembered she liked something red(turns out it was red saplings lol) I am happy with her little design, hope you all like it too! :]

What is Two Roads au?

Two Roads is based off q!Roier’s story from Bobby’s Death to joining the Fooligetta family, but with a fairy twist. The story is narrated similar to fairytale as, split between two settings: the village and the forest. The village’s narrative focuses on isolation and q!Roier’s relationship with Bobby, while the first centers around acceptance and his connection to Leonarda.

Each story is inspired by queer experiences, the village representing heteronormative society and the forest/fae the queer community. Q!Roier’s journey ends through him leaving the forest with Foolish, Vegetta, and Leonarda, a non traditional found family.

In portraying Two Road’s story, I was drawn to the two sides of an accordion book- the same paper but unable to be read at the same time. Both stories combine to form a larger narrative, yet are divided between two communities with separate customs and beliefs.

(How are we all doing after last night’s lore? I’ve been working on making copies of this book and not crying over gay cubitos.)
