Beautiful! By the pivot center.
Awesome post!!
Working cows this early morning. Coolish 75 degrees will work quickly but without stressing the cattle. A quick worming of about 100 animals. By noon it will 95 plus as south texas warms up quickly!
350 cows calving and the only one I am overly concerned about is the nurse cow!
Rolling blackouts, in our case 36 hrs w/o electricity, left us w/o water for cattle. SO using a generator, a sump pump, and buckets we hauled water to cattle. It was an all day affair for 3 days. Sid Miller for Texas Governor.
Love this!
Beautiful milk cow in South Texas! Actually she is a nurse cow for any 'orphan' calves. Angus cattle have twins. Often! Mastitis sometimes, but rarely, will take the milk of a mama so her calf goes to Elsie, shown above. She is a pill but we love her.
Close up of a gopher snake I found near the shed! Little longer than 5 feet. It caused me to pause just a minute! 4/29/19
December hunting brings April fried venison!! Woot woot! Dang I love this stuff!! Blessed beyond measure!
