Made Some Art

Sometimes art can come out of silly little places. For instance, my work had a leadership conference earlier this year, and I was given a pen and notepad for notes. Of course, I took full advantage of that.

"It's just a cricket. It's not a monster, it's a cricket.

You were afraid you'd be left behind if you didn't make digital art. So, you abandoned what you loved in order to be like the others, and that's when the cricket began to chirp.

But you didn't know it was a cricket. It was so loud, so persistent, it paralyzed you with fear and sorrow like a monster in the dark.

Now, you've finally found it. Sitting in the corner of your mind is a small and insignificant cricket chirping quietly in a corner.

It will likely always be there, but it's no longer a terrifying unknown beast. You've seen it for what it is, and you're no longer afraid of it.

It's only a cricket."

So... this guy's name is Lord Komodo. He's from a film called Warriors of Virtue that my friend showed me. I absolutely fell in love with this character and his insane energy. Unfortunately, no one else knew about him, so I stepped up and drew some fanart. The actor, Angus Macfadyen, did an awesome job portraying this lovable villain.

Anywho, here he is in a sweater! ♡
