I don't know about worst but it still gave me more feysand
Now that’s it’s been months are we ready to admit acosf is sjm’s worst book and that the acotar world should have began and ended at acomaf.
I am a part of so many fandoms but sjm fandom has gotta be the most toxic one and yes I still love it here.
all these people saying books are allowed to be criticised and calling themselves reviewers and then just straight up hating a character because she decided to have a kid then you are nothing but a troll and a bully.
the acotar adaptation, while heavily anticipated by fans, can be viewed and critiqued by anyone just like any other show or movie. antis have full right to watch it, and if their criticisms of sjm bother you, i strongly suggest blocking the tags.
Mare: I am sad cal.
Cal: here, have a pun.
Rhys never said he gave feyre the high lady title for feminism or to be the king of women’s right. He said he wanted his mate to be equal with him in everything and that he wanted a Queen. It’s similar to modern monarchs when the spouse of a royal is evaluated in marriage ..so if you think anything other then what’s in the book, you made that up. Period. Can’t hold him or feyre according to things they don’t say
i'm sick of seeing nesta stans talk about us invalidating her trauma.
i can't name one person who refuses to acknowledge that.
yes she was groomed. yes she was SAd.
but here's the thing:
that doesn't permit her to be abusive.
sjm is peddling this dangerous narrative that not only do victims become abusers, but that it's justified.
refusing to have nesta acknowledge her behaviour means saying it's okay. it doesn't matter if it's explicitly excused or not. not having her confront the abuse she dolled out and explaining it with "oh well she was abused." is excusing it.
sjm destroyed so much of her credibility when she published this horribly written fuckfest of a book filled with retcons about the archerons before and after the cabin and essentially hand waved away feyre's trauma at the hands of her sister because she faced abuse.
As much as I want the only mentioning of tamlin in the upcoming books is if someone is finally killing him.... I do need to see, or hear about him and Rhys friendship before he die. Like, they were besties at one point, let me see it.
Two high lords sons in a forbidden friendship…I would eat that up. I love forbidden tropes
