i completely believe it’s about taylor and karlie oh my goodness no contest.

it fits so many kaylor songs and how we think about their relationship.

but not just how taylor planned out how she was going to win karlie’s heart, it’s also a song that has a cute surprise twist midway through the song where it’s revealed that her love interest was also wooing her and knew she was being wooed!!

You know everyone talks about how in love Taylor is with Karlie, but we, well me at least, never though about how in love Karlie is with Taylor. I know it’s mostly because Taylor writes and sings all these songs about her. All we really have are the moments Karlie has talked or gushed about Taylor. But we also have all the photos of Karlie looking at Taylor like the sun rises and sets with her. The post earlier on here made me think about this.

okay so we have been talking about how misty goes over to taylor during certain parts of the song but i was just watching a recording online where they distort the sound to avoid copyright conflict and so i was watching the performance purely visually and not trying to think about the connection to the lyrics and it’s quite literally that

the ballerina keeps trying to run to taylor in between stunts

but she always has to go back to the man so they can perform another maneuver..

What makes it all hilarious is Taylor said she wrote the treatment a year or so ago and wanted these specific people in the video.

So let’s cook:

She specifically wanted a girl from Missouri to play a coder who is assumed to be the villain that will betray her…until it’s revealed she was there helping to save/rescue her (or well, one of her master recordings that the coder…sold to 🛴lmao) the entire time.

She also could have debuted that video at any show, but deliberately chose to debut it in Missouri….when the pictures of her filming the video came out on April 9th—a historic day (IYKYK).

Oh and my favorite part—she reunited with an “ex” on stage. Y’all can read between the lines on that one. Lol
