👼 to Lorde’s birthday party (November 7th, 2016)

we can estimate that the rings were first given out by VS to their Angels in early november 2016, as per several social media posts done by Angels showcasing the ring on Nov 1st and 2nd. so from this we can tell that taylor got the ring and wore it pretty much straight away, the same week it was first given out, to a party that she herself threw.

and i thought it was worth mentioning then that taylor was in fact wearing the ring in this photo:

we just were never able to see it 😌

so this is both the first time she ever publicly wore the angel wing ring, and also the last time her and karlie were seen together until rep tour nashville 2018. a fitting way to mark the beginning of the ~love blackout~ as it were.

do you interpret mastermind as "i orchestrated/designed the entire relationship with my beard" or as the genuine "i wanted to be with you so i planned out everything and none of it was accidental"?? or both maybe?

i completely believe it’s about taylor and karlie oh my goodness no contest.

it fits so many kaylor songs and how we think about their relationship.

but not just how taylor planned out how she was going to win karlie’s heart, it’s also a song that has a cute surprise twist midway through the song where it’s revealed that her love interest was also wooing her and knew she was being wooed!!

if taylor could look like that for the man music video it really makes me wonder about the rooftop people in ME!

i think we already know some of them as her dancers but do we know everybody? we’re the dixie chicks ever confirmed as in the mix or was that just the consensus rumor?
