Genuine question but I've never understood why people think Cornelia Street is for Karlie? Like in the first parts of the song, she casually tells the persons she's staying on CS, and they're a fresh page, filling in the page as they go. If we go by the Kaylor timeline, they'd be dating for 2+ years by then so there's no fresh pages and I'm sure Karlie knew she was looking at the CS place before she decided. Like the lover on Cornelia Street has to be new or the events had to happen at Tribeca.

A fresh page is a new beginning. I think they moved in with each other on Cornelia Street. They hadn't lived with each other before then. A fresh page is a new page in a book that already exists.

Taylor was just staying on Cornelia Street while her place in Tribeca was being renovated. Seems like the renovations were for them to live together and they started living together on Cornelia Street.

I don't believe the lover on Cornelia Street is new at all. If you're going off Toe timeline would you move in with some after dating a few months? I wouldn't.

I think they changed the way they dealt with their relationship. She's talking about hunkering down. When she was out of the public eye. There are parallels in Call it What you Want and Cornelia Street.

Karlie was seen outside of Cornelia Street too. Why do you think Taylor hasn't had a secret session in her NYC apartment since 1989? Have to clear it top to bottom of Karlie. :)

The amount of Swifties defending Joe’s alleged insecurity over Taylor’s fame is too damn high. They say it’s rude to speculate and believe gossip and rumors and to just leave the man alone. I would, of course, agree with this.

But we see the hypocrisy there, right? We know the rumors they did choose to believe, and the woman they still to this day will not leave alone…right?

Why in this world are we so quick to defend an [allegedly] straight white man who couldn’t handle his girlfriend’s success, and why are we so quick to condemn a self-made business woman like Karlie who has been nothing but supportive and respectful to Taylor all along? Why is that the priority? I know I’m not the first to point this out, but I just can’t wrap my head around feeling so moved to come out in his defense almost in favor of the patriarchy—on the Taylor Swift subreddit no less.

“Don’t use her as a pawn against the patriarchy” as if Taylor would not LOVE that (and as if she hasn’t orchestrated these “rumors” about Joe being insecure about her success). Taylor didn’t write FUCK THE PATRIARCHY into ATW10 for you all to defend Joe Oatmilk Alwyn.
