a handy guide to shipping
Y’know… a vampire Regulus fanfic would be so good and maybe a little chaotic…
Like he’s literally autistic (my hc, calm down), he wouldn’t be able to stand the stickiness of blood or his ability to hear basically everything. And he falls in love with the fucking sun.
(If you ship that anyway)
There are just two things I know for sure:
1. James Potter wears hoodies.
2. Regulus steals them.
Regulus Black with a tiny little silver 'j' on a chain around his neck.
That's it, that's the post.
Anybody done this yet? Yes? No? ...am I the first

"Oh....holy...Salazar," Sirius murmurs, face completely alight with glee as he stands at Regulus's door.
Regulus wants to skin him alive. "Shut up," he orders, hands shaking and heart pounding with terror. "It's not what you think, it's-"
"It's not that you're lovingly sketching a picture of my shirtless best friend?" Sirius demands, still smirking happily.
And that's exactly what it is. Regulus had been so completely immersed in sketching James Potter in all of his annoying perfection that he hadn't heard Sirius knock or enter his room. And now...he has no explanation to offer him.
"You like him," Sirius states, chuckling.
Regulus knows that his one weakness is his brother. That for some reason, Sirius is the only person who can see through his immaculate poker face. So instead of lying, he says venomously, "I will ensure you have a gruesome, painful, drawn-out death if you tell a soul, Sirius, I swear to Mer-"
"What if I said he likes you too?" Sirius interrupts casually, sitting on Regulus's bed and smiling like Christmas has come early.
Immediately, Regulus turns to him, defensiveness and fury changing to hesitant curiosity. "Tell me more."

the biggest reason i like jegulus is absolutely because i love the characters and their dynamic and just everything about them - they’re undeniably my favourite ship, they eat every single trope, and sirius finding out is always funny.
but there’s some small regulus kinnie part of me that likes it because it makes me feel like no matter what, i can be loved.
