I need help finding a fanfic!! it's a Will Graham x reader where instead if Abigail being attacked and having her throat slit by her father it's the reader and Will goes to visit her at the hospital and bring her a new scarf and as she removing her old one to put on the new one he got her he notices the scar on her neck, then she talks about how she sometimes re-lives that day and she feels like she dying again and then it ends with Will's hand back on her neck like when he was trying to save her the day she was attacked and it's just this moment of understanding and fluff pls someone help me find it I'm in dire need to re-read it again and the frustration of not being able to find it has me almost in tears 🥲

Pairing: Unrequited Castiel x fem!reader, established Dean x reader!sister, Sam x reader!other sister

Word count: 8.3k, one-shot

Summary: Your sisters had made a deal to save Sam and Dean. You had made another deal, with Crowley’s help, to save your sisters. No one had seen it coming when you went missing, but even less had they expected to find you as a shadow of your former self.

Warnings: Usual spn levels of angst, trauma, demon deals, etc.

A/N: Sort of sourced from an old rp I did, and loosely off of Nightmare by Halsey. Another song fic, literally no one is surprised anymore (oof.) I’ve been extremely sick this week as I’ve been working on this, so apologies in advance if it isn’t as coherent as I think? Also apologies since tumbles apparently took away the line break feature and I’ve yet to find a way to fix that. I’ve made an attempt at line breaking in the meantime, we’ll see how it goes.

Alright, so I just gotta say that I think the LOTR community is sleeping on one of the best possible dynamics for a potential Elf-Human romance. Like yeah, we all want Legolas to marry us and worship the ground we walk on - But I can’t help but love the idea of the Lotr Elves looking at their s/o like “Look at my pet human, aren’t they adorable?”

Because elves live for hundreds of years. They’re in-tune with nature in a way we, as humans, can’t even understand. So I just imagine an Elf-Man romance where the Elf does genuinely love and admire their human, but also finds them cute in the same way we'd find a cat cute. Bonus Points if it starts out like that, but then evolves into a very genuine, respectful romance between the two of them.

Legolas: This is my favorite human, (Y/N), they are very small and entertaining. They hit me with a cardboard tube once. I love them.

Also, you cannot convince me that this isn't what happened with Kiliel. Tauriel thinks Kili is her sweet little meow meow, meanwhile Kili thinks Tauriel is the fairest being in Middle Earth. It's a perfect dynamic.

I’ve said this before and i’ll say it again: Marcus death was pointless. It didn’t serve any purpose in terms of plot development and it happened only for the sake of killing someone. Furthermore the show didn’t need one of its witty side character to die in order to be emotionally draining. He also died in such a stupid way; it’s sad to say but his murder was underwhelming and if he really needed to die, then the screenwriters could’ve at least staged something better especially given that Marcus was liked by most. A show doesn’t need its characters to die if it doesn’t add anything to the plot so please stop killing people only for the sake of it.

Yes, I’m still not over Marcus’ death and i’ll make it everyone’s problem.

Angst fics can help people come to terms with their own grief, begin healing, or give people that good cry that they need.

Smut fics can help people affirm and accept their sexuality. It can help them explore their sexuality in a safe way. They can also just be fun, and having fun is a drastically undervalued way to improve your mental health.

Dark fics can help people face their fears or process their trauma. It can make them feel safer and more secure. It can help them find their courage.

Fluff fics can give people rest and respite and comfort. It can give them hope that soft places exist and that maybe there is one out there for them. It can bring up their mood, which, if they have depression, can be a life saver.

And every fic people write makes someone feel less alone.

Point being, just because a particular thing doesn’t serve you, doesn’t mean it lacks value.

This is not to say that we have to consume all fic uncritically. Of course not. It is just to say that entire “genres” aren’t trash or lacking value just because they don’t serve you.

So I’ve noticed a bunch of medical errors in fics I read, so I decided to post this handy guide to some of the most common errors and some background on basic medical things.

ps- they are not medical treatment or first aid advice. I’m not actually a doctor. yet. but I am certified in first aid. this is just so your writing can be more realistic.
