It was. But it doesn't really play a role in why this episode infuriated me. I don't like the fact that the fan didn't apologize to Twilight, although he should have, as I said. And it creates some kind of bad message for the kids, like, "Hey kids! You can violate someone else's space. And if that someone doesn't ask you not to do it directly, then you can continue to violate their space."
My most hated trope in mlp is that Twilight is justifiably angry at something, but she is wrong and in the end she should apologize.
Are Twilight's friends acting irresponsibly and childishly while all their friends and family suffer in slavery? Twilight is such a meany that she was the only one who was serious and tried to take at least some action to save Equestria 😡. Does her annoying fan follow her around and disrespect her personal space, although it's obvious that she's uncomfortable with it? Well, it's her own fault that she didn't say she didn't like it (it sounds very much like victim blaming), so she needs to apologize to him for yelling at him, duh 🙄.
I f#cking hate this trope so much, you can't imagine.
Astrid is in the dark? in the void? Idk. Decide for yourself.
(before his fall, btw).
In the show itself, we didn't get a full-fledged Lucifer design before the fall, but not that that's a problem. And I drew this sketch mostly so that I could make a demonic design of Luci later.
Here is a shadowless and cartoon version (it was the very first one).
I've been struggling with the redesign for a long time, not really knowing what to add to Charlie, 'cause there are so many options! But I still realized to some extent what I wanted.
In my redesign, I wanted Charlotte to look as cute and friendly as possible, so I added pastel colors and soft silhouette shapes to her. And also my, like, headcanon, that Charlie is trying to look friendly and nice to sinners. But because she's a hell-born creature, she doesn't really understand what humans consider cute, which makes her look a little scary and uncanny.
But Valkyrie (aka Vaggie) helps her with learning how to look cute and friendly.
Can someone PLEASE explain to me what is this Hiccup png cult in tiktok? 'Cause I don't have a tiktok myself.
Oh, and that fish girl is my sona, if anything.
⚡G3 Frankie Stein redesign!!!⚡
I think I could have added more lightning elements to their design, but overall I like what I've got.
Dragon riders as ponies. Ugh, it was hard for me to come up with Fishlegs and Snotlout cutiemarks. It was difficult to finish drawing the twins, cause I was too lazy to draw them. But, fortunately, I finished them all.
Drew quick sketch with Hiccup in a dress, just cuz. Maybe I'll draw other riders in dresses.
Oh, there's so much about the life-action movie we've been having lately. First, the leaked frame with Toothless and Hiccup, then the first trailer (which I'll talk about much later), and now this photo from the filming, where we can see the local Astrid and Snotlout, which I'm going to talk about.
Astrid, for starters. I actually really like her design from her hairstyle to her armor. Yes, it doesn't look much like the design from the original movie, but damn, the new design is still very good. I don't even have the words to say how much I like it.
And also the armor design looks like something in between Hiccup's armor and Astrid's clothes from the second movie. I'm not the only one who sees the resemblance, right?
Among the disadvantages of Astrid's life-action image, I can note the absence of small skulls and spikes on clothes. Like, these are important details of her image, which well showed her sharp and belligerent nature. And the fact that they are not there makes me kinda sad. And this is purely a matter of taste, but I would like her to have a blue shirt, not a red one (I never liked her red shirt).
And now about Snotlout. I don't even know what to say about him. His clothing design is kinda meh. There is no hatred for the actor, but, as for me, he is too thin and small for the role of a big dumb bully. Like, I don't believe that this cute guy can bully other people, especially because of their physical strength and small build.
Like, in the original, Snotlout was such a standard of appearance and behavior of the Vikings of the Berk. Big and strong, and because of it, it doesn't matter that he's dumb. And his design emphasized this well.
And here... Meh.
In fact, he looks more like 16 years old Gustav than Snotlout.
Edit with my redesign of Vaggie!
The redesign is filled only with my preferences and headcannons. I'm not trying to fix anything.
I did not draw a full-fledged full-length art with Vaggie, I only edited the promo poster with her (that is, I traced the body and added my own details, I'm sorry).
To be honest, I don't really like the final design of Vaggie, or rather her clothes. I don't know, she looks like a gothic/emo schoolgirl with those stockings, gloves and choker. With her serious and responsible nature, I think she would have dressed more professionally/in a business style. That's why I dressed her in the uniform of the hotel staff.
