I got an ask a while back asking about what my fave scene was in the Bumblebee movie but for some reason it was asked to my Doujin Page. But here’s my answer:

It’s so hard to decide, because I absolutely adore every scene that Charlie and Bee are in together. I want to say their first meeting because of their instant connection and just how soft and gentle they are around each other.

But I think my fave would have to be when they both run into Sector 7 and Bee immediately gets protective of Charlie. And when they’re surrounded by two giant Decepticons and the entire army Charlie’s first instinct is to stand between them and Bee despite being a tiny human girl–and when they’re both tasered and lying there and their only instinct is to reach for each other cuz they just know they NEED TO BE NEAR ONE ANOTHER no matter WHAT?? I’m already melting into tears just thinking about this entire thing AHHHH

Super cute, but Bee got blue balled wtf. They had all the traditional romance tropes between Bee and Charlie and then at the end… Nothing??? I’d better get a sequal.

So when Bee tells Optimus that his name is Bumblebee, he uses Charlie’s voice to say “Bumblebee”…which, you know, already had me weeping like a little child. But THEN, the thought occurred to me: did he also record everything she ever said to him? So he can replay them and listen to her voice whenever he misses her. Which, I’m guessing, is A LOT. ALL THE DAMN TIME, IN FACT. But soon enough, just hearing her recorded voice on loop is not enough. So on his rare days off, he secretly goes to check on her, careful to not be seen (he can be stealthy; he’s a soldier after all). Sometimes she’s taking long drives in her car (she’s finally managed to fix up that old thing, he sees; he’s impressed…and proud) . Sometimes she’s hanging out with Memo. Sometimes she’s hanging out with her family. She seems happy enough. He loves seeing that beautiful smile of hers, and loves hearing her laugh. But one day he catches her alone at the place where they last saw each other. She’s staring at the photo of the two of them. And he sees her tears. Her tears that always broke him and hit him so hard in his spark. He drives away quietly, allowing the one he adores her privacy. He thinks: one day, Charlie, one day….

Okay now I’ve made myself sad.
