I feel that there is a bit of confusion in regards to the ever-popular "Reverse Sonamy" trope fans are hoping to see in Sonic Movie 4. Every time I bring it up, I get this:
"Well, I want Sonic to like Amy, but I don't want her to be completely disinterested in Sonic!"
Actually, this isn't a misunderstanding of Reverse Sonamy. This is a misunderstanding of actual Sonamy. This is for one reason:
SONIC LIKES AMY. It is confirmed. It is teased, and the whole "dating" thing probably won't become canon until I'm 100, but Sonic being romantically interested in Amy IS a thing.
Reverse Sonamy is the same thing, but flipped. Sonic is more open about trying to gain the affections of Amy, who is interested, but is too shy/has more important things on her mind.
these are my personal headcanons for my boy so if any of these are insane, you know why lol // this is also kinda long so I’m putting some under the line
to start things off, he is literally the angriest man alive so like be prepared
tbh he’s probably not ready for a relationship at first, you’ll have to be very patient with him
his brother just tried to kill him after all so family issues are also going to be a main dilemma for him
you’re going to have to be the most patient person because genji is going through a lot of internal conflicts at this point and he’s just consumed with rage and confusion and revenge
this is also why zenyatta is able to whisk him away so easily and turn him into the lovely cyborg ninja dude we all know and love today

Cayde having a crush on the reader (who is a warlock) and asking Ikora for help. OwO
Aww yeeess
She will give him the run of the mill; 101 How to Ask a Warlock Out.
The answers she given was a use and not to him. He probably understand some of them because he’s not use to smart words. So, he will translate it to his own words.
For example : Ikora : When asking one out, the other side should know how to use their words right. Cayde : Think before you act. Got it.
He will write them down. The tips she gave him, it become his notes. He might ask questions to her. Questions that she give him the Ikora look.
Once he learn it all, he will find them. Searched the City, the Tower, the EDZ before finding them, having a chat with another Warlock in the library.
He approached the both of them and said, “Can I talk to you?” To them, not the other Warlock. They accept his offer and excused themselves from the Warlock.
“What do you need?” They ask and oh boy, his mind had completely erased all the teachings that Ikora gave him. It has become a blank canvas.
They were waiting for answer and Cayde’s mind went, “Screw it! Just be your own damn self and ask them out!”
So he did.
Ikora, who was watching them, don’t know to react. Happy that her Warlock said yes and disappointed that Cayde didn’t use her teachings to them. Maybe a mixture of both?
They said yes. They didn’t turn away from his offer. They could feel that he was beyond ecstatic as his optics went brighter. He doused them with a hug and his voice rambles, on how happy he is.
Ikora gave her blessings to her Warlock and him. IF they take the relationship to the next level.
Fear.
That’s all that rushed through his person as he pushed past doors and people, muttering apologies in his native tongue as he launched himself around corners and down hallways.
Fear.
He could barely breathe. He couldn’t speak clearly, rambling under his tongue in cut off words and phrases. He made no sense.
Fear.
What was left of his human parts were coiled tightly, precise, not missing a single beat against the metal floor of the Overwatch base. Metal feet colliding against the hard metal floors like a rabid symphony, scratches and cracking and squeaking and scuffing. It truly bled the ears.
Fear.
He knew no longer of the monk’s words. The painful trials of learning patience and long grueling time of relearning how to feel again were thrown out the window.
Fear.
The heat coming off of his face blinded him, steaming up the faceplates covering his face. His face was red under the metal coverings. Wet too, from salty tears and dribbles of snot like he were some scared little child again.
Fear.
Fear of losing you.
But his older brother followed. The older Shimada matched his younger’s speed once he took off from his place in one of the training rooms towards the medical bay. Upon turning the corner towards the sterile door, Hanzo had snatched at Genji’s shoulders, yanking him back. Folding the arms at the elbows, Hanzo grabbed Genji’s wrists and pressed him against the wall.
Both panting, Hanzo glared at his younger brother.
Footsteps could be heard follow, the jingle of spurs had followed, along with the calm calls of Genji’s master.
“You need to calm down,” Hanzo scolded. “What good will you running amuck do for them? In the state that they are in? You could distract them! They could slip up! They could die!”
“Let me go, anija!” Genji spat, attempting to yank himself away from the older Shimada. “I need to see them!”
Instead, he only grunted as Hanzo pressed him closer to the wall.
“Not until you calm down.”
Cole and Zenyatta had rounded the corner, the cowboy out of breath and grasping at his knees, panting like a wild dog. Zenyatta tilted his head towards his student before humming softly.
Hanzo and Cole alike were both shocked to see the omnic suddenly stand on two feet. In their time of knowing Zenyatta at the base, the omnic always seemed to defy the laws of gravity and float everywhere in a lotus position.
“Let go of his wrists, Hanzo,” he calmly advised, placing his metal hand on top of Genji’s tense shoulder. The older brother hesitated before sighing, releasing Genji’s wrists. “He is right, Genji. You cannot panic now for their safety and health. Miss Ziegler and the other medics are doing what they can to help them.”
Just as Genji opened his mouth, the door opened. Ana Amari stepped out, adjusting her eyepatch as a tear slipped from under the black cover. She was shocked to see the four outside, but eyed Genji the most. Her eyes softened before she sighed.
“Ana?” Cassidy whispered.
“They’ve lost a lot of blood. Angela is doing what she can to save them,” she mumbled. She stepped away from the door. “You can sit in the viewer if you need to, but… I wouldn’t stay long.”
Upon hearing those words, Genji rushed inside only to stop dead in his tracks at the window. One way, bright, crowded. A small screen sat in the corner, a view from above looking down on…
Genji felt Cole’s hand on his shoulder, but paid no mind to it as he watched your face.
Stitches across your face, bruised, bloody still and bandaged to all hell. You had caught in an explosion in Dorado, Los Muertos’ doing. You were in a small building when it had happened.
If you were right outside…
Genji didn’t even want to think about what would’ve happened.
He could already see some equipment that took him back to when he was initiated into Blackwatch. Cybernetics.
You had lost a body part… Maybe more. He remembered how devastating it was for him to lose both of his legs and a whole forearm.
“Genj…” Cassidy murmured, “they’ll be alright.”
He could only imagine how terrified you were, how much you were screaming and crying from the agony. Reinhardt had told him you were strong though, even as he and Morrison dug through the wreckage to find you. He saw how the old German warrior was saddened that even he couldn’t stop this from happening.
He felt like he would vomit right there.
Cole and Hanzo stepped outside after Zenyatta waved them off. The two were left in near silence. They could only hear your faint heartbeat fluttering every now and then.
“I know that this is a hard time for you, Genji,” Zenyatta hummed. He placed a hand on Genji’s shoulder and watched the screen with his student. Precise fingers worked on your body, tools were passed and needles dug in and out of your skin, sealing it closed as other needles numbed your body. “I know that you are suffering, that time is cruel to you as to us all during this tragedy. But know that even as time may take away what we love the most and how it may bring pain and agony, know that time will also heal all wounds and time will allow you both to grow. But sadly, all we can do now is wait.”
Genji said nothing, only letting his shoulders slouch. He was defeated. There was nothing the ninja could do now but wait just as his master had said.
“How about we meditate on this and we can discuss how we can help them after they wake up? Perhaps brightening up your shared quarters with some flowers?”
Genji looked to his master before smiling. Zenyatta, all the wiser, knew despite the faceplates blocking his view, that his student would do so at the drop of a pin.
And so the two sat in the viewing room, listening to your heartbeat slowly growing stronger.
A/N: I just have to say, guys, that I am floored. I didn’t expect anyone to read this or like this. I’m stunned and so honored. I don’t know what to say other than thank you and look out for part 4 soon!

When Movie!SonAmy is in the courting era™️, I imagine it’s Sonic who tells everyone all the details, like she told me this she did that, especially to his bros amd maybe Shadow (if he ever comes along) And as fans of Telenovelas Knuckles and Shadow are soooo invested (though Shadow would kill anyone that said he is too interested) meanwhile Tails nods along, praying that Sonic and amy will get together so that this torture will end.
Knuckles once suggests that Sonic fights Shadow in front of Amy to impress her, which Shadow shots down because he’d win and embrass Sonic. And says that Amy isn’t a prize to be won™️ Which Sonic agrees on.
Tails, as a fan of nature documentaries, searches all about hedgehog rituals but Sonic immediately refuses because he feels closer to a human than a hedgehog lol
Suprisingly Shadow is the only one with sound advice, as someone who actually spent time around a girl Amy’s age before as his sister but it amounts to something. He urges Sonic to spend time with her as much as possible, don’t forget that girls, especially Amy and Maria, like adrenaline and fun as much as he does. The stereotype that girls just sit pretty and gossip is not true.
The four have group chat and everything, Tails Knux and Shadow are all trained wingmen. Meanwhile, once asked Amy is like, yeah we went on a picnic this tuesday it was cool and doesn’t elaborate more than that, while losing her mind internally over everything. And Shadow senses this, so becomes a double agent outside of Amy and Sonic’s knowledge because he doesn’t give a heck about secrecy at this point. If these two idiots were left to their own the only person guranteed to see their wedding (assuming they stay alive until that) is Shadow since he is immortal.
Age of Triumph…
“Cayde!? CAYDE!”
“Woah, hey, kiddo. You alright there?”
“Cayde, you’ve got to listen! Someone’s going to kill you, and I-”
“Easy, Tal. From the top, take it slow.”
“I…” Talyn takes a deep breath. “I was, um…practicing.”
“We talkin’…” Cayde pantomimes shooting himself.
“Yes. You and I were fighting together, in the Prison of Elders. We almost had everything under control, but…”
“Buuut? C'mon, this sounds like a good story.”
“Cayde, I’m being serious! We got seperated, and I couldn’t make it before some…thing shot Sundance. You died in my arms, and I…”
She wraps Cayde in a possessive hug. He pats her on the back.
“Listen, it’s just a dream, alright? I’m fine. See? Got all my arms, got all my fingers.”
“Cayde, these are glimpses of the future. I can’t just write it off.”
“Look at it this way- I’m stuck in this Tower. Not a lot can shoot at me up here, y'know?”
“Yeah…heh, maybe I’m just being silly.”
“Maybe. But hey, who doesn’t get silly every once in a while?”
“Cayde?”
“Uh-huh?”
“…promise you’ll keep safe?”
“‘Course. I promise. Now you go get 'em, Tal.”

could I ask for a one shot request of a cayde x f!reader with the prompt "Score for me. I'm up one!" "Where did you learn to count?! We're even." please owo?
Snail, I read this and I immediately thought of Cayde and the reader meeting up at a bar after a long day of work, paying darts, making bets, taking drinks, getting tipsy… just lots of fun vibes.
perma tag list : @mail-me-a-snail @shins-wife @speed-boop @threevie @squadnos @daggerthegamer @reaped-winnower @lady-efriyeet @eris-horn [for some reason it won’t let me tag you :c]
Saw you re-enter Tower airspace. Meet me at the bar? 20:00.
That message was from Cayde and you smiled to yourself as your Ghost read it off to you. The two of you met up regularly, it had been your ritual every day since the Red War, but you’d just stepped foot in the Last City after a three-day long mission. Needless to say, he missed you. And you missed him.
You didn’t even stop at your apartment to change. You wanted to see him so, so badly, you practically ran to meet him there. You went straight past the Postmaster and practically ran to the elevator that led down into the Last City. The air was warm with the coming summer when your feet hit the pavement. A short walk into the City later, you were shouldering your way through the door of one of the many local bars within a mile of the Tower. The moment the door closed behind you, Cayde-6 looked over his shoulder directly at you. His expression brightened; you smiled as you strode across the room towards him.
“There she is!” Cayde cheered as he pulled back a stool for you. “Come in, come in, take a seat. How’s my favorite Guardian doing?”
You laughed softly at his grandiose gestures. “I’m fine, Cayde,” you laughed. “A bit tired maybe. Happy to be home…”
Cayde ordered you a drink as you sat down on the barstool. “It’s been quiet here without you.”
“What are you saying, Cayde,” you teased, “did you miss me?”
Cayde chuckled as you took a sip of the drink that was placed in front of you. “What can I say? You take all of the excitement with you when you leave. Tower’s boring without you ‘round.”
You hummed softly as you leaned over and bumped your shoulder against his. “So, what’s the plan for tonight, Cayde? Or are you just going to keep feeding me drinks until I’m drunk?”
“Darts.”
“What?”
Cayde waved a hand out in front of your face and there were red and black darts between his fingers. “A good ol’ fashioned game of darts. Loser takes a shot.”
Your skeptical face slowly grew into a smile, and you downed the rest of the drink in front of you. “Alright, I’m game. I’m going to kick your ass though.”
The night went on, the drinks were flowing, the bar slowly grew more crowded and louder with music, chatter and laughter. You and Cayde had spent nearly three hours at the darts board, betting drinks, laughing, chatting, catching up. You twirled the dart in your fingers before balancing it between two and tossed it at the board. You cheered and hooted when it made its mark, though it wasn’t a bullseye, it was a high score. Alcohol had started to intoxicate your brain and you were tipsy. “Beat that one, Cayde!” You laughed as you leaned back against the table next to you.
“Oh I will, Guardian, this match is gonna be all mine, just you watch.”
He tossed his dart and it landed on the bullseye. He laughed and threw up his hands. “Score for me! I’m one up!”
You laughed as you walked back over to him. “Where did you learn how to count? We’re even. This is matchpoint, cowboy.” You picked up the last two darts and walked back over to the Exo to hand him his. “How ‘bout we throw at the same time, yeah?”
“Fine, fine, but this one is still mine,” he teased as he took the dart out of your hand.
“Mmm… I’d like to see that.”
You two leveled your arms and counted down from three, then tossed at the same time. And this time you hit the bullseye.
“Yes! Victory is mine!” You hooted as you jumped up in celebration. “Time for you to drink!”
Cayde laughed as he picked up a shot from the table and toasted to your victory before he downed the drink. “C’mon, Guardian, let’s get outta here.” Cayde’s hand placed gently on your back as the two of you walked out of the bar into the night air, which had grown nice and cool for a summer evening. Once you two were alone, his arm wrapped around your back and his hand rested on your hip.
“I had fun tonight,” you said softly. “I missed you. Ever since the war…” You sighed softly as you leaned your head on his shoulder. “I don’t like being away from you either.”
“It’s not easy on me, either,” Cayde admitted. “Zavala may have given me some more flexibility when it comes to leaving the Tower, but I worry when you’re out there without me.”
“Well then maybe you should come with me more often, I could use a partner.”
“Y/N, you’re one of the best the Vanguard has, you’re just sayin’ that so you can spend more time with me.”
You laughed. “Is that such a bad thing?”
“Not at all.” Cayde’s hand squeezed your side gently as he pressed his mouth piece against your forehead. The two of you were approaching the Tower elevator where you would part ways for the night so he could attend to his duties and you could get some rest. “Not at all, y/n.”

could I ask for some Hazard relationship headcannons?
I got you pookie and thank you for being one of my first request!
- Endless Banter
Your relationship is built on teasing and banter. Hazard has a sharp tongue and a dry sense of humor, and he loves when you can keep up with his witty remarks. It’s a constant back-and-forth that keeps things lively and boy does this make him feel like he’s on cloud 9.
- Late-Night Conversations
Hazard tends to be a bit of a night owl, and some of your most heartfelt conversations happen in the dead of night. These moments reveal the layers beneath his tough exterior, where he shares his fears, hopes, and vulnerabilities.
- Partner-in-Crime Energy
He loves having you by his side, especially in situations that require quick thinking and a bit of rebellion. Hazard trusts you to have his back no matter what, and he makes sure you know he’s always got yours.
- Signature Outfit Pieces
You’ll often find yourself "borrowing" his jackets, hoodies, sweatpants and accessories because they’re not only comfy but they just look right on you. Hazard secretly loves seeing you wear them. He never asks for them back, either.
- Small but Meaningful Displays of Jealousy
Hazard doesn’t get outwardly jealous often, but when he does, oh boy, it’s subtle but still intimidating. He might casually drape an arm over your shoulder or drop a sarcastic comment that leaves others wondering if he’s serious or if he’s about to make the other person see god.
- Music is His Love Language
I think we all saw this coming, As a punk himself Hazard loves metal music and often makes a little playlist for you to listen to them with him. He won’t admit it outright, but the lyrics often hint at his feelings.
- Loyalty
Once Hazard commits to you, he’s all in. He’s fiercely loyal and won’t tolerate anyone disrespecting you. He makes you feel like the most important person in the world.
- Surprising Softness
Despite his tough exterior, Hazard has a soft spot just for you. He’ll let his guard down when you’re alone, resting his head on your shoulder or wrapping you in a rare, tight embrace. These moments are like gold. EXTRA bonus points if his head is on your lap while you play with his hair.
- Tattoo Talk
Hazard loves explaining the meaning behind his tattoos (if he trusts you enough), and he’s always asking if you’d ever get one yourself. If you already have tattoos, (he is barking internally) he’s constantly fascinated by their stories and significance.
- PDA in His Own Way
Hazard isn’t overly showy with affection, but he’ll hold your hand, rest his arm on your shoulder, or keep you close in a crowd. It’s subtle, but anyone who sees you together knows you’re his.
- He Loves Your Style
No matter how you dress or present yourself, Hazard notices the small details. He’ll compliment your look in his own blunt way, like “Yer lookin' pure badass today” or “That's dangerously cute, so dinnae go distractin' me, awright?”
though I have to say goodbye,
Remember me,
Don’t let it make you cry.
— ♠️ —
A feeling washed over your form, it was a feeling of dread and you could felt something was wrong. You leaned on the kitchen counter, clutching your chest. You hate this feeling. Your Ghost was sleeping peacefully on their nest, probably next to the baby.
A baby cooed in the crib, somehow giving you strength to walk over to the crib. “Oh Ace.” He had his father’s looks, probably taking the credit with the eyes, except the hair and body. You reach down, placing your hand on his plump cheeks. His eyes — it has that same sparkle as Cayde — gaze at you with wonder.
As for your gaze, small droplets of water landed on Ace’s cheek. You were crying. This couldn’t get any worse as you pick up the baby, giving soft kisses to his cheek and forehead. Ghost had felt the change of your emotions. They woke up from their nap and floats towards you, brushing their shell to your other cheek.
This was not the end of it as you went to the meeting room. Zavala had summoned you and only you. Walking to the meeting room, you noticed that the Hunters weren’t acting like themselves. The Titans and Warlocks in their Fireteam or Clans were talking to them. If something has happened to the Hunters then something has happened to Cayde. Few Guardians takes a few glance to you, knowing who you are.
Ikora was there and Saladin too. This can’t be good.
Taking a deep breath, you push the door open with both hands and the sight immediately brought you to your knees.
“No, no, no, no.” But you didn’t fell to your knees, instead you rush over to your husband. The Guardian who went with him, they were silent, their head was down.
The tears came back. “Hey, wake up, Caydie…. please?” You said, cradling his face. The faceplates were in pieces, his optics. They were not light up and have the spark. It was dark. “Please, please don’t do this.”
A hand was placed on your hand. “It’s real, hun.” Amanda was here. “Guardian did their duty but Cayde… he did his best. Like every Guardian did. He will not be forgotten.”
“Yes, he will be remembered. A memorial should be build.” You let out a shaky sigh, making yourself to smile that wept. “It was all he ever wanted, a big statue of him.”
Zavala, Ikora and Saladin shared a look. The tradition must go on. Amanda rubbed your back, giving her shoulder for you. She knows what the trio are thinking. “Tradition is tradition.”
“I know. I’ll be the Hunter Vanguard.” Your Ghost appeared and went to his Ghost, looking at the bits of pieces of him. “Can’t run away from that, eh?”
“I’ll remember you.” You leaned over to his mouth plates, gave him a kiss. It will be the last kiss that you will remember from him. For him, it was at the Hangar, asking a good luck kiss from you.
— ♠️ —
For even if I’m far away, I hold you in my heart
I sing a secret song to you each night we are apart
— ♠️ —
The funeral wasn’t everyone favourite even to go to, but it was a must since they lost another Guardian. Some say a friend, a mentor, an annoyance but to you, he was your lover, your husband and your heart.
You had taken the mantle, his outfit has changed from the one you had seen. It was without the hood and you wonder, if Andal was there. He wouldn’t be lonely. He has Guardians and the people up there, accompanying him, paying his debts. Your Ghost wasn’t sure on what shell to wear but they use their old shell. The shell you had met him.
Ace was sleeping in the stroller. He had a little plushie of the gun that Cayde always use. Colonel was there, standing next to you, she was wearing the cloak that he gave her from the Dawning.
The Hunters had their own way of giving their respect to him. Zavala and Ikora had their own speech about him. You didn’t want to.
You decided to unleash your Super; the Gunslinger and use the Golden gun, using the bullets to remember him. A few Gunslingers, Dawnblades and Sunbreakers join in. Soon, every Guardian use their Supers to give the end a memory for Cayde.
— ♠️ —
Remember me, for I will soon be gone
Remember me, and let the love we have live on
And know that I’m with you the only way that I can be
So, until you’re in my arms again
Remember me
— ♠️ —
Walking down to the Hangar with Ace following you, the Guardians greeted you with a nod. The new ones; the Kinderguardians gave you a small wave. Ace waved back.
Thanks to the Guardian and Amanda’s help, Cayde’s ship, the Queen of Hearts was done. Ace was excited about seeing the ship that his father piloted. You have told him all about Cayde, even asking Zavala or Ikora to join in.
The young boy had that mischievous within him and you know where he got it.
“Where are we going, mom?”
“To visit dad and tell him our day.”
“Oh! Can it be a picnic? I have so many things to tell him!”
“Sure thing.” My Prince of Hearts.
