One of my favourite parts of working with kids is like… Very Gently subverting their idea of gendered topics… Like if a girl goes ‘no, sharks are a boy thing’ and you go “UM ACTUALLY THATS STUPID AND INCORRECT” they get freaked out, but if instead u go “Are you sure? Cause I think sharks are awesome, here’s a scale picture of a Megalodon” it’ll blow their tiny mind and they’ll be shitting themselves over it for days. 100% effective, 10/10 recommend

So excited to announce that I’ll be at Playgrounds In Motion in London next month! This event will take place on September 8-9. I’ll be having a conversation with Izzy Burton on stage, and of course I’ll be signing books too! 

Also, did you know that Procreate will be hosting a special event where they reveal a new project that they’ve been working on? I have no idea what it is but I am so very curious! I’m attending their launch event and I can’t wait to see what their reveal will be ✨

all the tips I found for drawing a fantasy map are like :) “here’s a strategy to draw the land masses! here’s how to plot islands!” :) and that’s wonderful and I love them all but ??? how? do y'all decide where to put cities/mountains/forests/towns I have my map and my land but I’m throwing darts to decide where the Main Citadel where the Action Takes Place is

How to drink water(by me)

1. Fill up a water bottle for school(because your mother says she’s worried you’re not drinking enough and if you don’t drink enough then your bodily functions will deteriorate)

2. Forget about it completely or reject the urge to drink

3. Realize you didn’t drink a single drop at the end of the day

4. Be disappointed in yourself for not drinking anything

5. rinse and repeat
