Dance like a bird - it works Vaughn's and Hedwig's idea of fun includes goofy dancing with each other. Plus Vaughn is respectful to Hedwig's quality beetle time I drew this mini-animation recently and decided to make a post with a couple of other dancing arts. Some of them are pretty old, but I've freshen them up a little bit. Also, I do have a pet Goliath beetle IRL
it's never too late to start brushing your teeth again. i basically never brushed my teeth for a whole 10 years. a decade. A DECADE. i still struggle to brush my teeth once a week, but it all started with brushing my teeth once every few months. so i mean it when i say brushing your teeth once a week, a month, a year, or even a decade, is better than nothing.
and still, nothing is not shameful. it is not immoral to struggle with self care. and it is also not pointless to keep trying. anything you can do, even if its wiping plaque off with a towel, is enough. it is good to take care of yourself however you can, even if it's just trying to muster the will to. reading this post is good, too.
i believe in you and i am proud of you, even in the smallest of steps. it's okay. you can give yourself grace.
Hey remember when US and Russia was all like “We’re the best!!! We’ve won the space race!!!!” But India sent a kick-ass space probe to Mars and the whole mission was fuel efficient, costed less and a roaring success in the first try and then they were like “…..wait no that can’t be true” and still have the audacity to call us “underdeveloped” or only view us as a ‘third world country’? :)
For anyone who needs more info, the probe was called Mangalyaan (which literally means space probe vehicle) or Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) and you can also get more information here and here
Story time: I’ve had acne since I was 11. I inherited it from my dad. After almost 25 years of taking hormones to treat it, I went off the pill last year because I was tired of the side effects. The acne came back, and even though I had prepared myself for that beforehand, it’s still really challenging. I can’t help but feel a sense of shame when my skin breaks out. At the same time, I would never judge anybody else for having blemishes. Skin texture is such a complicated thing and I have so many emotions around it. So here are some drawings of pretty girls with blemishes - it helps me process some of these complicated feelings. And hugs to all of you who also suffer from skin problems - you’re not alone!
I am in absolute AWE that the japanese dreamswap community remembers the day I first posted about ani and how many people drew fanart for ani's birthday this week. I didn't even think of it until I found all the art on twitter. you guys are awesome!
