I love LGBT representation in books but I love it more when it’s treated like it’s completely normal. I don’t want any huge coming out scenes or extra emphasis a character being trans. I just want queer people to fight dragons and not have to provide exposition on their existence.

felt the need to add some tags for carlos sainz because my heart breaks a little bit each time i see any incorrect usage of spanish or google translate 😭😭

I appreciate trying to incorporate spanish for Miguel. However, I see you guys saying you’re using google translate and it’s not the best translator as it translates it literally and sounds awkward. A better translator is spanishdict.com and it looks like this,,,,

I put in “you look beautiful today” and it translated it in different ways and shows you what region uses what and how you can use it in different contexts. 100% way better than google.

Also, I’m Mexican so from what I’ve seen from my family members, specifically my uncles and dad, use for the spouses as terms of endearment are cariño, mi amor (my love), mi corazón (my heart), mi reina (my queen) mi vida (my life), and mami. We also don’t use vosotros or vos.

Honestly, I’d also be down to help proofread spanish parts or help see if a sentence or phrase makes sense!!
