⊹・ starting from december 21, tumblr is expanding its list of banned tags on its ios apps to comply with app store’s (new?) guidelines. ⊹・no official list has been released detailing all the tags that have been banned. however, @bannedtags has compiled a list of known banned tags, which is linked at the bottom of this post.

⊹・sadly in the mix are tags such as #mine, #my stuff, and #mine*, all which are commonly used among the editing community, as well as some tracking tags such as #bbelcher. ⊹・for content creators who use such tags, this means that their posts (and any reblogs of such posts) will be unavailable to be viewed on the ios apps from anyone’s dashboards. ⊹・however, the posts are still viewable if you go to one’s blog directly or if post notifications for a certain blog is turned on.

⊹・if you are a content creator using one of these newly banned tags, rather than using mass post editor to delete & add tags, tag replacer is a far easier tool to use. ⊹・a popular tag used in the editing community that has not been affected (yet) is #*, which you may consider using instead.

candy cane express + jaemin

synopsis: your school has this thing where you can buy a candy cane for someone and they’ll deliver it to the person you choose. unbeknownst to you, jaemin brought them for you.

genre: fluff

note: i just wanted to write a christmas themed one. i hope you guys have a happy holiday! get some rest, loves :)

as you were copying notes down during psychology class, a girl shyly enters the classroom after knocking.

“i have a candy cane for nicole,” she says, as you continue to copy the slide, unbothered.

until, “i have one for y/n,” the girl proceeds to say, causing you to give her a confused look, as you get up to get the candy.

“oh there’s another one, and another one, and oh another one,” the girl continues on and on as she hands you, what seems like an endless amount of candy canes.

each candy cane contained little notes.

note #1: “hey, this surprised you, huh?”

note #2: “wondering who i am, huh?”

note #3: “but first, i’ll tell you why i sent these and why are these $3 each?!?!”

note #4: “it took me a while to realize this, but every time i see you in the halls or class, my heart pounds. wow, how cheesy can i get, right? it gets worse.”

note #5: “you always made me feel important and i needed that, i needed you to smile at me, tell me that it’ll be okay, and give me good morning hugs.”

note #6: “you made my feelings entangled.”

note #7: “you made me lose track of time, whenever i talked to you.”

note #8: “you made me worried if you felt the same way as i did.”

note #9: “you made me anxious, nervous, but happy.”

note #10: “even from a mile away, okay im being dramatic, but i can recognize you from any distance, your voice, the way you laugh, and your cute little pouts.”

you snap your head to the back of the room, where you found a jaemin staring at you, smiling as you make eye contact.

you mouth a “yes” to him, causing him to smile even wider if that was even possible.
