PSA: BAD LITTERBOX

i don't usually make posts like this, but this is a truly upsetting topic to me as a lifelong cat owner, so i feel i have a duty to share my knowledge with others.

there is a type of automatic litterbox for cats being sold that is EXTREMELY dangerous and has killed numerous cats through blunt force trauma, suffocation, etc. this litterbox is being sold under different brand names and logos, so i will include the picture of the model and two links to informational videos with more evidence and eloquence than i am able to provide.

please consider not having this type of litterbox in your home for your furry friends. me and my 16 year old tortie, puddy, want the best for all your kitty friends

Scarlet x Violet

Like with Sword x Shield, I decided to share the highlights from Ansy & Ikrit’s Paldean adventure, Scarlet x Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero! If you’d like to see the whole story, please visit my Instagram at parasol_lady_ansy 🌧️

While I did enjoy Scarlet & the DLC’s (going back to Unova in Blueberry Academy was a treat!), I didn’t like Scarlet nearly as much as I like (LOVE!) Sword, so this was a much shorter series, mostly focusing on the Indigo Disk DLC.

Important headcanons for this story: Ansy & Ikrit ended up on parallel timelines when they came to Paldea - Ansy was on the Scarlet timeline (Naranja Academy, Koraidon) while Ikrit was on Violet timeline (Uva Academy, Miraidon). They could still communicate across spacetime via their Rotom phones & Union Circle (spots where the timelines blur & they can meet up).

Being around all these kids really brought up Ansy’s maternal instincts, as she “adopted” Penny & Arven lol (she would still check on how they’re doing).

Professor Sada / Turo similarly fell into the parallel timeline years ago, though each concluded the other “left”. These two timelines converged in the endgame climax, & the Paldea that exists now is a combination of the two. The academies became Uva-Naranja Academy, & everyone has a strange combination of memories from the two timelines.

Man, this was hard to watch. This is where we find out that the deal that V mentioned in Cabin Fever wasn't just a blanket deal with the trio, but a specific bargain V made with Cyn to protect N. She's been masking all this time, keeping N at arm's length and being the best murderous psycho she could to keep Cyn away from N. And then the mask falls, and she's just a terrified kid believing she's just lost the one person who mattered most to her.

Imagine what it must have felt like to see Uzi use the Solver for the first time, and to watch N and Uzi grow closer. She didn't even see Uzi; she saw Cyn, taunting her with the threat of taking N from her and daring her to try and do something about it.

In that context, V's decision to place her trust in Uzi was the MOTHER of all character growth.

ANOTHER out of season valentines doodle? Sure is!

This was a headcanon a friend in discord suggested last year before the season finale. It's been in my WIP file dusting (like my other stuff 👀). So basically just some Collector magic shenanigans happened and poof! They got body swapped- 💥

(Addressing these together since they're most likely from the same person. I apologize if they're seperate people.)

Sighs.

First off, I'm not abandoning the blog. I still like Pokémon, I still like Toxic Chain Kieran, I still hate Mochi Mayhem. None of that has changed. I'm not throwing it all in the trash.

Second, I didn't mean for Over The Garden Wall to take over my brain. I didn't intend for it to, I thought it would be a fun show to watch since I know some of my friends watched it.

But welp, it's just living in my brain now. I don't control the hyperfixation. I even avoided a lot of other media that seemed interesting to me because I didn't want to lose my Pokémon hyperfixation. Over The Garden Wall seemed like a small thing, and I didn't expect it to have that much of an impact on me.

Third, I tag things appropriately. If you want to avoid OTGW stuff, you can filter the tag so you don't have to see it. Simple as that.

I don't do this blog for clout or anything, I just want to have fun with the stuff I like.

If you want to unfollow me, that's okay. I've lost some followers already (no hate to those that did, btw) after posting about Over The Garden Wall.

And it's not like I stopped posting about Toxic Consequences or stuff like that entirely, I still enjoy it. I'm still creating art for it.

I should add that you don't get to dictate what kind of posts I have on my blog. I don't know if it was your intention, but saying "just don't post that stuff" was genuinely upsetting.
