Some Fudous in my folder that I keep for no other reason than cute
Why do you have each other's hair color as eye color? Because of gay? You want me to say gay pride?
I always have been associating Kidou and Sakuma with eyes motifs but I was reminded of an interview saying that Fudou's eyes are expressive, so maybe eyes is a Penguin Trio and Teikoku thing? probably. But yes you can watch in the anime that Fudou's emotions are stored in his eyes.
And I'm very glad they still keep it in GO movie!! I had a discussion with @pinyacoladas about his eyes and if one looks closely they're drawn differently that when he was younger to make him less freaky.
GO!Fudou have longer, more oval shaped irises and his eyeliner game isn't as strong as baby Fudou's (as in the lineart for his eyes are thinner than young Fudou's are)
My guess on why are Fudou's eyes so expressive? From shape psychology theory perspective is:
Fudou's eye shape and eyebrows are triangle-like. In shape theory triangles symbolize movement, motion, and energy compared to rectangle and circle. His eyebrows are short and thin making them easy to notice even on GO!Fudou when he has full bangs. For see more closely one can watch the clip above and compare Fudou and Kazemaru's eyes as Kazemaru has round eyes and longer eyebrows
Fudou's design change in GO with longer iris and thinner lineart softens his expressions. I'm guessing this has to do with the smaller negative space it creates too but I don't have enough knowledge on it atm. He still does the shrinking iris thing as an adult though lol (on clip)
Not the same expression but the eyes are drawn in the same manner

I've been thinking about ina11 and tobitaka 24/7 the past two days
I just finished reading just now despite already having this on two browser tabs because I'm forgetful šš I'm sorry!
This fic caught my eye because Saginuma and Genda are the combination I hadn't thought before, so I'm glad I read it because it gives me new perspective about their characters!! I love it, I rewatched Neo Japan mini arc last night before I continued reading
āWhy do you hide them?ā
Genda just sighed - deep and tired and pained - and Saginuma remembered the segment on the news. Beast Fang. He shivered at the thought.
āItās⦠a painful reminder.ā Genda held a tight grip on his comforter, still it did nothing to stop the shaking of his hands. āJust something Iād rather forget about. ā¦Itās shameful.ā
Saginuma blinked at that. He couldnāt think of a world where the proud āking of keepersā and āshamefulā could exist in any proximity to each other.
Although, he remembered catching glimpses of Genda looking down at his hands with disdain in the short moments he had to himself during training. Saginuma had always chalked it up to frustration at his injuries, but hearing that word come out of Gendaās mouth recontextualized it.
His heart felt heavy at the realization, imagining their otherwise proud keeper carrying that feeling of shame. Something about it felt absurdist, like Saginuma was starring in a comedy skit written by someone who expected him to believe that Genda Koujirou had ever felt flustered or humiliated in his time on Earth.
Or, Saginuma sees Gendaās scar, and shows him his own.
Yukimura has a matching t-shirt of his own too

it's very surreal to see posts about palestine dwindling down after the ceasefire. israel is still blocking aid to and trying to make life difficult for palestinians in gaza. we still have to continue to speak up about gaza.
in this ceasefire, many palestinians are trying to rebuild in attempts to try and return to what they had before the genocide. despite the heavy and unbearable loss of life that gaza has experienced, her people continue to try to make a better world for their children.
alaa is a mother of two young children. she wants to rebuild her house and get a better future for her children. please have heart and consider helping her out. her fundraiser has been verified.

did you know that you can just go online and be nice to people? you can give people compliments and helpful advice when they ask? you can encourage people when they need a little cheering up? you can even share cute pictures! more people should use the internet like that.
Iām not following Orion right now, heck I didnāt even finish Ares yet, but seeing so many posts on characters analysist and the thing makes me so happy!
And becauseĀ Iām a noisy dumb gremlin I will hop on the analysist cart and do something Iāve always dreamed of doingā¦
This is gonna be a long post, so Iām gonna continue it under the cut.
Aaaaaaaaaaah, Kageyama Reiji⦠The first villain, the big bad wolf, the one who traumatized the children.
But why heās like that? Well, thatās simple, heās a traumatized child himself! Let me explain.
We know that he attended the Raimon and was part of the original Inazuma Eleven 40 year prior to the first series event.
And the Raimon is a middle school, that means that he was between 13!yo and 15!yo at the time. But we canāt stop here.
We need to talk about Kageyamaās father. We know he was kicked out of the national team and then he started to lose every match he played. I think he had some sort of writer block, but for soccer. And fans started to hate him.
We know this from what Onigawara says in episode 22. But I want to point out something he says before all these thingsā¦
āIt started 50 years ago.ā
This means that Kageyama was between 3 and 5 years old when this all started. Basically his first memories were of people mad at his dad on a fucking game. We even get a shot on him as a kid watching as the people around him throws shit and insults his dad.
Pretty traumatizing, uh? But thatās not all! We also know that his father left the family, his mother died from illness and he was left alone.
And the fact that heĀ āwas left all by himselfā bothers me. Itās oddly specific. This is just a theory of mine, but maybe thatās linked to the fact that many minors in Japan are abandoned by their caretaker.
And this all happened before he joined the Raimon, that means that this happened before he was 13 years old.
But weāre not done yet, oh no.
I think Kageyama developed a phobia of losing after all of this. Because not only his methods are extreme, he cheats even when he doesnāt need to! And in the games we know that even as a teen he would do anything to win, itās not a trait he develops as an adult. And in the end his fears are in some ways confirmed when the Zeus loses to the Raimon. He had a pretty nice job, a good reputation, enough money to have a chauffeur, and then a bunch of kids shows up and he loses everything. He even gets arrested and had to fleed the country after he evades. Iām not saying he didnāt deserve it, but that must have been really bad for his mental health.
And then thereās Garshield⦠We know really little about him. We donāt know how much heās old or where is he from, but we know one thing
Garshield helped Kageyama with the sabotage of the Inazuma Elevenās bus. Remember that Kageyama was between 13 and 15 years old at the time, he was a child. A problematic child with behavior problems and with no one watching over him. And Garshield took advantage of him and groomed him to do his dirty work. Even after 40 years Kageyama still worked for Garshield, he was always his puppet.
That obliviously doesnāt justify all the evil deed he has done, he harmed children in many ways, but heās not so different from Fudou or Tsurugi and the othersĀ ābadā children in this anime. The difference between then and Kageyama is that Reiji was helped by the wrong person, a person that wanted to use him.
Yeah I donāt know how to end this⦠I just love Kageyama as a character, heās something more than theĀ ābad guyā we usually see and I explained why.
Thanks for the attention, byeeee
