Here is your mission.
rogue: do you ever wonder, why keep going?
doctor: because we have to. we have to live, each day, because they can’t… you don’t have to stay a bounty hunter, rogue… you could travel with me! ah! the worlds i could show you, rogue.
rogue: and what if i like what i do? (voice shaking) would you… travel with me?
doctor: that is — quite an argument. i tell you what, when we both get out of this, let’s argue across the stars.
rogue: (steps closer) i’d like that.
the god of death possessing the tardis:
“old man writes about gen z on their damn phones” ?????? no?????? old man writes about the dangers of staying in your own bubble and prejudice and privilege to the point where you’d rather die than let a black man save you????? old man writes about useless influencer-types who are so dependent on their bubble that they dont know when they need a piss???????? old man writes about white people desperately trying to make their own aryan society and staying in their racist BUBBLE ????????
In case it wasn’t clear…

WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THIS TO ME?
Today, many may be getting ready to sit down to a feast with their families in celebration of what’s commonly called “Thanksgiving”. Before you do so, take some time to think about the real significance behind this day and the histories that have been buried deep from view. Learn about National Day of Mourning and why this day is treated much differently among First Nations peoples. For many, this day marked the beginning of a long, horrific, still-ongoing history of violence. Talk to your family members about what truly occurred this day and what it means to the Native people of these lands. Find out what Indigenous lands you’re currently on and the ways you can help to support, uplift, and amplify the First Nations people in your area. Wishing everyone a meaningful National Day of Mourning.
Note: while the term “Indian” is used by Wamsutta James in his quoted speech, and some Nations use it to refer to themselves, it’s best to refer to Native people as Indigenous, Native, or First Nations out of respect (especially if you’re not Indigenous yourself).
I am so ready for the gatwa era
He had found a Nutri-Matic machine which had provided him with a plastic cup filled with a liquid that was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea. The way it functioned was very interesting. When the Drink button was pressed it made an instant but highly detailed examination of the subject’s taste buds, a spectroscopic analysis of the subject’s metabolism and then sent tiny experimental signals down the neural pathways to the taste centres of the subject’s brain to see what was likely to go down well. However, no one knew quite why it did this because it invariably delivered a cupful of liquid that was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea. The Nutri-Matic was designed and manufactured by the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation whose complaints department now covers all the major landmasses of the first three planets in the Sirius Tau Star system.
ah, the not-quite-tea saga. my favourite.
Good news: he has a role in the Quintessential Phase!
