Yeah that's a slight issue but I feel that's not intentionally racist. The dragons see the humans like mindless animals and vice versa.

I always appreciated as another POC the fact that the humans in this fantasy setting weren't all white. Most fanasty settings seem to be allergic to melanin so I was happy we had any characters with color. But yeah there's some undertones that I assume Tui wasn't trying to make, but inadvertently did.

How much it's taken as an offense I guess depends on the person. I apperceived it but I can see how the more racist take away could be made.

I hate the humans in WoF because they’re all heavily implied to be POC and then they’re seen as…. Pets. Oh. Oh no. That is…. Um…. 😬 I am POC before anybody comes at me. Like there couldn’t even be ONE white person???

Dove and Dodo

Skywing siblings from the Divided wing AU. Dove and Dodo. Dove is a skywing undertaker and funeral arranger, acting sort of like a priest and a clean up for deceased skywings. Because of her job, she lives a nice life unlike her younger brother Dodo who was born with stunted wings and cannot fly thus he lives in poorer conditions and struggles daily.
