New anti-AI tool from the team developing Glaze that looks to poison prompts and ruin data sets entirely.
The tool can go so far as to trick AI into generating things it didn't ask for. 50 "poisoned" images of dogs into a data set yield typical errors companies have been working to get rid of: weird proportions, extra limbs, etc. When they added 300 samples, it was drastic enough to make a data set that was trained to generate "dogs" into "cats" making the tool basically useless.
It's not out yet, but they're adding it to Glaze and they intend on making it open source.
Welcome to the age of the AI arms race.
Bend time to your will
i love being up early but i love being up late. and i love getting lots of sleep. what now.
how does venting work in among us
because i thought that the impostor were using their shapeshifting abilities to be able to fit into the vents
but then among us added roles and made it so crew members could vent
but also only if they're an engineer
is it like
the engineers are the only ones that know how to crawl?
is there multiple branching pathways in the vents that only someone who repairs the ship know how to navigate?
polus and the fungle make this even more confusing
on polus, it's just holes, i don't see why they only some people can use them
and the fungle, a plant eats you, then a different one spits you out?
how does that work?
are the impostor able to travel through the roots of the plants?
how do the engineers do it?
if the engineers can do it why can't the rest of the crew?
well actually maybe the crew shouldn't jump into giant plants that can eat you whole
but still why is it that the crew can vent but only when they're engineers, which doesn't even make sense for 2/5 maps
none of this makes sense
I do wish they made names for other higher dimensional shapes and didn't stop at 4-polytopes because that would be sick.
'Polychoron' is the best name to be given to 4 Dimensional Polytopes, and none of the others could ever come close to it; Its competitors, 'Polycell' and 'Polyhedroid' could only ever hope to come close to it.
'Polycell' is too bland and has no imagination, it's like if we called Polyhedrons 'Polyfaces' and Polygons 'Polylines;' It's clear that whoever came up with this name just didn't care.
'Polyhedroid' is just too derivative, clearly being a play on 'Polyhedron;' Imagine living in a world where Polyhedrons are called 'Polygonoids' and Polygons are called 'Polylinoids' or some shit.
'Polychoron' is so much better than any of that; It's completely original, rolls off the tongue and, in my opinion, sounds cool as fuck.
Hello, Tumblr, I am here now.
Elon Musk is still saying they'll "debate" who killed Twitter and god, he hasn't realized that this is his legacy, huh?
Like, spoiler alert, Elon Musk isn't taking us to Mars no matter what Captain Lorca said. He's not going to go down in the history books as a new Edison. His most enduring legacy will probably be a cautionary tale. I can't stress how enduring the story of Twitter's failure will be, even long after Twitter itself is forgotten: a man bought a platform so ubiquitous in society that it had every celebrity, reporter and world leader posting on it for FREE, and in a fit of petty ego, obsession, and conspiracy theories, turned it into a barely-functioning mess that alienated all of its userbase but his yes men. It's going to be a infamous business failure story, taught to people and dissected for ages. "The world's richest man blew up a platform everyone used to make someone named catturd2 like him" is just. A tale for the ages
