So I kinda want to express my opinion about people headcanoning Love and Deepspace men as part of the lgbtq community, because I'm tired of being unable to express it anywhere publicly without being shamed for saying that they are straight?
And it does include any character from any other game that is said to be heterosexual.
Would you say that a lesbian would date a man because her lover gets reincarnated as a man?
Or would that sound homophobic?
Why is it okay to push your headcanons into canons?
I saw two sides of this war, especially on TikTok, and honestly each side is MAD AS HELL, and some people go way overboard with arguing, instead of just expressing their opinions.
It's okay to want to be represented, and I promise you many games include people of different sexualities and races, I myself am pansexual and proud to admit that.
But why can't we give hetero women one thing for themselves?
Also the stuff with male mc.
Did you create your mc to look male? Cool! Love that for you babes, but still keep in mind that this game centers on women, and otome game is made with a female protagonist in mind, you're free to change and personalize her to your liking, but saying that there should be an option for a male mc is just... Not right in my opinion, same with Nikki from Infinity Nikki game from InFold.
Headcanon what you want, write, paint, express your opinion for as long as it's not hateful and morally wrong, but please PLEASE, respect the canon of the game.
Also people saying that a male mc wouldn't change anything and it's not that deep.
It is in fact that deep.
Love and Deepspace is a game made specifically for women, it's their safe space, a space when men treat them right after so many of them survived abusive relationships - lads men raise standards and make them feel seen, and not as a burden.
The period calendar addition legit made me cry because I had a fictional man comfort me through my cramps, instead of not giving a single fuck like my ex boyfriends.
Do not push lgbtq everywhere, not everyone has to be homo, bi, pan, omni etc etc, I do not shame people who headcanon them this way, but PLEASE for the love of God have the strength to admit that it's not canon and that they are said to be heterosexual by the people who created the game and created them.
Thank you for reading that rant, I just had to get it off my chest, because it's a topic that constantly goes after me, even when I do my best to ignore it.
Please remember, that lads would not be able to choose their sexuality, and if they would be born hetero (created and coded in this scenario) they would not feel physically attracted to a male mc, even if he was the reincarnation of their soulmate, they would probably keep him close and care for him, but not as a lover.
Have a nice day and please don't spread hate for either side, whether you're into canon or headcanon, I hate to see my safe space becoming a warzone.
Back again with more audios of our favorite green-eyed menace! I was so upset after realizing there wasn't a way for me to save all the delicious little quips he says when you poke at him on the event page! and since I'm still on a blissful high from this post, my pain once again becomes your pleasure š
I HOPE ZAYNE'S VA GETS EVERYTHING HE WISHES FOR IN LIFE.
Which one is your favorite? š«
Update: I made another one š
Hi guys !
Just wanted to speak up for a bit about an issue I've seen on here. I won't give any names for obvious reasons, but I've seen users commissioning fics (asking for money against writing fics) and aside from the fact that it's against Tumblr's Policy, if you've been in fandoms since before 2020 you know why this is problematic for fandoms as a whole.
While asking for help is always okay to do if you're struggling, basically selling fics is not and if you don't know why (which is okay, the LADS fandom is fairly new and its fanbase as well so not everyone knows everything), let me explain it.
Fanfictions are and must remain free for the simple reason that, because it is based on existing licences to which we do not own the rights, profiting off of it is considered theft of intellectual property and breach of copyrights so it's, well, completely illegal.
The only reason companies are tolerating fanfictions' existence is BECAUSE it is free, it is a gift from a fan to their community. It is a work of love, not made for monetary gain but to share the love of a work with other fans of that work.
There have been instances of people trying to profit off of fanfics before, resulting in lawsuits that impacted the whole community of the fandom that it concerned (thinking about Anne Rice, Warner Bros, Patreon users being banned, the mature content purges on Fanfiction.net...).
The balance in fandom spaces is more fragile than we think, they are safe spaces because we created them with the same thought of protecting those spaces by respecting implicit rules of decorum, not profiting off of fics being one of those implicit rules.
We already know the original content of Love&Deepspace is heavily censored because of Chinese censorships and that Infold is greedy so imagine how they'd react if they knew people made money off of their work. It would not go well for anyone involved and the consequences for the community as a whole would be catastrophic.
Imagine if somehow this was the straw that breaks the camel's back and it brought some governments' attention on fanfiction, enough for them to make up laws to ban fanfiction altogether. No one wants that to happen. No one.
So please, if you happen to be one of those people and you're reading this. Don't be selfish. Think about the greater good. Don't ruin everyone else's safe place for your own personal gain. Thank you.
Spiritually I'm already there lmaoo
au where everyone becomes their pfp go
if you gatekeep a character and hate others because they ship themselves with them, i will immediately assume you're a minor or an adult with a peanut for a brain who never got out of their insecure mean girl high school phase and it's lowkey sad for you
someone in that creative team realized his best angle is him looking down MC/us..so now they keep finding excuses to get him on top of or hover over MC/us š¤
iām collecting these like a crazed woman š«£
Early morning (actually afternoon) Xavier scribbles ft. gremlin gf.
Ngl itās hella weird that so many ppl are being extremely sex negative/anti BDSM(not sure if itās even actual BDSM but idk)about the new banner and even going as far as to compare it to sexual assaultā¦
You can dislike something without shaming/making fun of ppl whoāre excited about it along without contributing to purity culture, misogyny/internalized misogyny, and cringe culture.
Since Day 1 Love and Deepspace has always been for women and or afabs to explore their sexualities in a world where women/afabs seeking out anything sexual(or even romantic)whether it be in fiction or irl is seen as taboo, dirty/filthy/unclean, and or shameful. Especially within parts of Asia.
Men are allowed to get straight up hentai tattoos and no one says anything but whenever women/afabs have crushes on/simp for/selfship with fictional characters and or consumes nsfw content of them then weāve āgone too farā or, āare so delusional/cringeā and get told that weāre mentally ill as an insult and that we should āgo to therapy/get helpā because of our āparasocial relationships with fictional charactersā(and over a period tracking feature within the game out of all things..)
Itās important now more than ever to have more media like this to be created as to lessen the stigma around female sexuality. ESPECIALLY with everything thatās going on in the US right now. Shaming women and or shaming other female/afab fans for enjoying this stuff only contributes more to the problem. Youāre not inherently better than anyone for not being into the type of things others may like.
āInfold is mischacterizing-ā
First of all idk where yall got that from they seem the same to me, just with more different personality traits/changes added. Plus thatās the point of an Alternate Universe/Reality. AUs are different than the universes we know. Also THEY MADE AND OWN THE CHARACTERS.
Thereās a difference between something just not being your thing and contributing to misogyny towards women/afabs in fandom spaces. Just because youāre not into/donāt like something doesnāt mean itās ānot normalā for others to celebrate Valentineās Day like this. I swear women/afabs canāt do anything without you mouthbreathers demonizing us and saying that weāre inherently predatory/unsafe to be around for thirsting over/selfshipping with fictional characters.
