Sketches From Hiatus Part 3

Hey so I know I’m supposed to be on hiatus, but here’s some expression challenges (is that what they’re called?) that I finished.

The people have spoken and Garmadad won by a LOT. So as promised, here is some WIP!

"Did I ever mention I once placed first in the Mother-Son Skate Off?" Jay asked, skidding down a bar without any issue. He giggled self consciously, but his smile didn't dim in the slightest. "I should have never admitted that."

"Weirdo," said Mr. Pale, skating by. Garmadon rolled his jaw, stamping down the flicker of protection in his chest. Jay was unharmed by the comment, and the other fighters had every reason not to trust or like them.

"Let's all go to the Royal Arena!" Chen declared excitedly. "Come on, chop chop!" He was wearing skates as well. What was this?

"If most of us have already fought, why are we all in skates?" Skylor asked.

"Ooh, good question!" Chen said. "Two of you will have Jadeblades, and the rest of you will... well, I don't want to spoil it. Come on now!"

"Who's fighting?" Jay asked, gliding past Chen. "I'm dying to know."

"The Master of Form," Chen said, grinning sharply. "...and the Master of Energy."

As Chen and his cultists swept out of the room, anger began to burn in Garmadon's chest. He knew Lloyd would have to fight eventually, but the fact that everyone was involved somehow was not lost on him.

It’s mostly Ratchet tbh.

But first, Hawkmoth, aka the second terrible French father that’s been in a fandom I’ve been a part of. He’s fun, as you can clearly see.

I want to know what happened to Megs’ scars after the Dweller episode. Did they just… heal? It seemed significant, and I’m hoping they circle back to it!

And finally, more Ratchet and Megatron. The bucket head is fun to struggle with :)

Hi everyone! I just wanted to thank @annielin-53o, @bf2511, @badabooh, @psychicruinsdestiny, @frostflameblue, and alicenade for following me! I probably won’t be making a lot of content, so I’m sorry about that. (Plus I have two other fandoms I’m obsessed with at the moment, lol) But thanks again, it really made my day!

I had an odd theory looking over the TFE episodes (and I am writing this at like 3am so someone else could probably put it a lot better than I can)

What if Bee was a Decepticon at some point?

There’s a little bit of evidence for it - he seems to be on personal terms with a lot of the Decepticons, to the point of apologizing to one of the Insecticons during the battle for the Allspark. He has Decepticon tech - maybe Optimus gave it to him, I’m not sure? Either way, he seems to really know his way around it. Swindle seems to have a very personal vendetta against him, specifically referring to the Battle of the Bay, which is definitely an important battle as it’s when Megatron defected and Dottie lost her leg.

And then there’s the whole thing with Breakdown! I could be remembering this wrong, but does Breakdown mention Optimus “getting between” them or something? They could have been friends pre-war of course, and that’s more likely, but it just makes me wonder.

I’m sure there are other examples. And perhaps he was a spy instead. Perhaps I’m looking too much into this, haha. It just seems like it would fit into Earthspark’s theme of change, and would be something very new with Bumblebee, which they seem to be trying to do with a lot of the classic characters.

Every Time Clouse And Garmadon Interact Ever

I CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW HYPED I AM FOR THE DEPARTED LORDS AU (found here @ask-the-departed-lords)

Please imagine the "Only One Can Remain" scene in the elemental fighters au where Chen is like. "Only one can remain, and that one is ME!!" Except since Clouse is with the fighters he’s sort of "given up" his position by Chen's side in Chen's mind, since now he’s apart of the Tournament & no longer his right hand guy. If that makes sense . Either way could lead to Clouse blaming Garmadon & still being banished or him begrudgingly teaming up w/ the ninja !! yk !

OOOOOH! I HADN’T THOUGHT OF THAT! Clouse would probably feel at least a little bit betrayed, because y’know he asked Chen for permission to join the tournament, so he might think that he and Chen were still on the same side! And as for him blaming Garmadon or joining the ninja, why not both? Blaming Garmadon and them getting into a fight, but Garm forcing him to realize that he has no choice other than to join the ninja!
