DP OC Marching Parade Day 7: Draw Someone Else’s OC

So I am severely late but I was committed to finishing the giant project I took on MYSELF. I had small things written down for each person but I can’t find the original paper I wrote these on.

Besides that, I am blessed to be in such a creative community as each of these characters have such unique stories only incredibly people could dream up. The designs, the love and care put into each of them is clearly seen and I am very proud to be among such amazing artists! Please forgive me if your character was butchered, it was my attempt to translate your design into my DP style! I know I missed some so if you participated in the Marching Parade and don’t see your character, let me know! I’d love to take a stab at your kiddo! (NOT LITERALLY).

Half-Lives Chapter 14

Jason was going to get him arrested. 

“WHAT’S GOING ON?!” a voice crackled out from the car’s loudspeaker. Danny could see a head of dark, curly hair over a pair of sunglasses as the window rolled down. Jason, concerningly, had frozen where he’d stood, one hand raised and poised to throw an egg. As Danny watched with mounting dread, he turned, slowly, to face the police car. 

“Hello Dick!” He called out in a mocking voice.

The egg was still being held threateningly in the air.

“THAT’S OFFICER GRAYSON TO YOU!”

“Oh, I’m so sorry. Officer Dick!”

So… I’m not saying I made it happen, but the Duolingo owl was killed off pretty quickly after I posted this XD

Duolingo is the ancient of language, and makes their form look deceptively cute so it can indulge in its obsession to teach its domain to other humans

It’s just a random thought prompt, but DCxDP where Danny is talking to one of the other bats/heros

hero: phone goes off, them groaning “I downloaded this stupid app so I could learn (insert language) for a mission, but it won’t shut up with the reminders

Danny: glances up from where he was chilling out and talking “why not just delete it?”

Hero: “I’ve tried, but the stupid owl app won’t go away”

Danny and the bats freeze, turning to the hero in horror: “do the damn lesson”

Hero: blinking “why, it’s not like the stupid bird can actually do anything.”

Danny: hisses “dude, shut up! Duo is a powerful eldritch horror, he’ll kill you!”

John Constantine: walking in the room and spitting out his drink “why in the bloody hell are you even mentioning that blokes name?!”

Danny: points at hero “he downloaded their app and is refusing to do their daily lessons!”

John: stares in horror before nopeing out “you bastards are on your own!”

Danny: grabbing the bats and opening a portal to the cave “nope, we out, I’ve dealt with enough nightmare to know a fight I can’t win when I see one”

Hero: left standing alone, glancing at his phone as it vibrates again with a notification “well… shoot”

Decided on an official name for the group in the Pokémon world in my fic Sibling Reunion through Portals (and Pokémon)

It means simply Demon in Latin and since the two main leaders are the ‘Demon Twin’ I thought it perfect, let me know what you think

DP OC parade day one: introduction

Meet Fuyu!

A fun loving mischievous neverborn from the reikai district of the ghost zone! This kitsune has traveled all over the multiverse through natural portal with help of the infimap, lovingly borrowed from Frostbite.

After meeting the great phantom, she followed him and became fascinated by the small town of amity park, so with a quick disguise she became the newest resident! Now she works at a small ghost themed cafe and has an apartment so she can experience a typical life, despite her different ways of life

Some of her more more unique powers include:

Shapeshifting, Ice, telekinesis, portals, pocket dimensions, and she can manipulate reality

Her obsession is writing and it’s not rare to find her writing something in a note book, phone, or computer. But ask her about it and she’ll light up! Quite literally!

The batfam overhear him say time and wonder who jazz is, only for a few weeks later Danny is on a study binge and hasn’t slept

Next thing they know the door is slammed open and a red head is wielding a bat identical to Danny’s

Danny: sweating “Jazz wait, I can explain”

Jazz: bouncing the bat on her shoulder “Bed. Now”

Danny: bolting to his room “YES MA’AM”

The bats then discover that there’s someone who can scare even Danny

You know I've seen a few variations on "Danny is the one who can make the batfam sleep" now and most of them are powers-based or him being a tiny new orphan who is so so sad if you don't take care of yourself-based

May I propose another variation: Danny, having moved into the manner a month ago and long discovered all of the relevant secrets (without the others knowing) can tell their lack of self-care is weighing on Alfred.

Alfred is the one he's seen the most in his time there - the others have spent time with him, of course, but they all have their night jobs and work or school away from home (Danny is doing online classes so he can work at his own pace) - so he's not at all happy about Alfred being stressed.

Danny calls a family meeting.

He's built an app, he tells them, and each of them can access their own timer on their phones - yes he already downloaded it to each of them.

Yes, those are how long you've been awake, he tells them. Yes, he's sure they have noticed Tim's absence - Tim was on hour 35. The maximum allowed is 24.

If one's timer reaches 24, Danny will find them, and he will put them to sleep manually.

How? Danny hefts the Fenton creep stick pointedly.

Someone points out he could give them a concussion or kill them that way.

Danny says he's had a lot of practice judging swings.

He also maybe bribed Nocturne for a large amount of sleep dust. The bat is just for a deceptive bonk (and they will be getting a bonk, if a light one) as they go out so he doesn't have to explain himself - they'll just think he's really that good at judging swings.

Someone goes to find Tim to prove he's just bluffing. Except Tim is actually asleep.

Danny doesn't use any ghost powers, he's just that sneaky and he's keeping a close eye on the timers. No matter how they try to avoid him it simply doesn't work. He hacks the doors, he's good at combat the one time someone noticed him sneaking up on them, and he's such a good sneak that most of the time they don't notice him until it's too late (even more impressive once they actually start paying attention to their timers to try and anticipate him).

They don't all live together. That doesn't help.

Danny took a bus to Tim's apartment while claiming he was going on a jog to avoid suspicion. He hitchhikes all the way to Crime Alley to put out Red Hood. Nowhere is safe.

It becomes very obvious he knows about their secret IDs. It also becomes very clear that he only really cares about whether or not they're sleeping.
