-I actually really like Alito‘s human design, so I didn’t change too much about it. I kept his white greyish pants and his red top, but left some buttons open. I also wrapped up his sleeves, so it looks like he’s always ready to fist fight someone.

-I gave him some more gold accessories and an expensive watch, which was a birthday gift from Merag, since the Kamishiro‘s are still mad rich and she knows he likes to feel fancy.

-He also does boxing as a hobby, because he still has his massive fighting spirit. He trains together with Girag, sometimes Nasch and Mizael too

-His hair covers up his right eye because it‘s partly blind and he can’t really see through it. It‘s also way lighter than his left eye, so people who see it may confuse it with heterochromia at first.

-The story about hs eye goes a bit back. As we know Alito had been a roman gladiator. He was very young when first fighting in the colosseum, about 14-16. He and his mother had been living as slaves, when their owner offered them a deal. Alito wins a match in the colosseum and they’re free. What he didn’t know is that he’d be fighting against a live lion. No one expected him to succeed, but against everyone’s belief, he beat the lion with his bare fists, but in no way coming out unharmed. He got several scratches from the lion, and also lost his right eye. The reigning emperor had been so impressed by him, that he immediately offered him and his mother a big place to stay near the palace. Under the condition that he would continue to fight as a gladiator, as the emperor enjoyed his fighting spirit.

-Over the years Alito had become one of, if not the most known gladiator in all of the Roman Empire, as the lion-fist. He never used any weapons, he fought and won each and every one of of his matches. Except of course his battles with the emperor himself, which always ended in ties.

-And I know what some of you are thinking. Yes, I think he had romantic feelings for the emperor, maybe even was in a romantic relationship with him. Which made his betrayal even harder for Alito, as he couldn’t understand how his beloved could ever do something like this to him.

-He was also the oldest amongst the barians to die. In other words, he lived the longest, up to 32 years.

-I made his hair shorter, so it would be more practical to fight and he grew a beard over the years

-His armour was also a custom made order from the emperor, as a gift to Alito and sort of as a sign, that he was the emperor‘s favourite gladiator.

-Alito gave all the prize money, that he won in the tournaments to his mother, so she could live an easy life. After Alito’s execution and after the emperor came back to his senses he made sure to treat Alito‘s mother to best life he could possibly give a as some kind of compensation for his grave mistake. But he felt guilty for the rest of his life. (He probably also threw the guys that framed Alito into the lion den or some shit, they definitely paid for what they did)

The loss of a child is never easy, no matter how many centuries pass.

Okay, hear me out, the Tomoshipping Brainrot is hitting so hard right now-

Because imagine:

We saw in the school festival episode, that Rio is in the Theater Club or just does theatrical plays at school. So, what if they‘d want to do some medieval romance play about a knight and a princess and Rio gets the role of the princess. She goes to Durbe to help her rehearse her lines and-

He‘s just so good?? At playing the knight??

Because he WAS once a knight, so he just FEELS the role!

So she asks him to officially play the role, but he‘s a bit unsure. Because it IS a romance with kiss scenes and all, so he‘d rather talk to his boyfriend about it first. Kissing someone else, even if it IS just Rio, feels weird to him and like he‘s cheating or something. But Nash tells him, that it’s no problem (solely because it’s Rio, if it were anyone else he‘d be very against it). It’s just a play and it’s just his sister. He knows that their bond goes way deeper than this, so it shouldn’t be a problem, right?

Oh, but it IS. At least for Nash.

So, after some thinking Durbe takes the role and we skip to the evening of the play. And Nash is just sitting there in the front rows and just absolutely torn between a feeling of pride and jealousy. Pride, because look at his boyfriend, he‘s doing so great and he’s so awesome and acting so romantically-

And jealous because he isn’t acting romantically towards HIM. He can even hear the hushed dreamy sighs of the girls around him in the audience, gushing about HIS boyfriend and that certainly isn’t lifting his mood.

So through the whole play he‘s just sitting there pouting and frowning

And part time cringing about the dialogue, but he can‘t say anything because 1) He knows he was WORSE in the mushy letters he wrote to Durbe in their past life and 2) He doesn’t want another shoe thrown at him.

But then in one act the knight does a monologue about how much he loves the princess. And while Durbe is supposed to look into the distance, he just STARES Nash directly in the eyes the whole time while he is talking about his undying, forever eternal love. He might even slip up and accidentally say he instead of she once, but he corrects himself so fast only Nash notices.

Nash has to fan himself with the play pamphlet, because he just grows such a hot blush on his cheeks, it’s so bad. HE‘S down bad. Just completely whipped. Can‘t even remember his own name for a second-

Then later after the play is done and they finally get to talk in private, the convo went a bit like this:

Nash: You were incredible, love!

Durbe: Aw, thanks! But it was all thanks to you!

Nash: Huh? Why?

Durbe: Because I was just always thinking of you! :3

Nash: …Say what now-

So, yeah turns out, that in every single romance scene Durbe was thinking about Nash. He pretended he was talking to Nash, talking about Nash, kissing Nash, etc.

And how many slip ups he had at rehearsals, because he was always saying Nash‘s name by accident.

And while he‘s talking about this, Nash is just

So in love.

Like just stands there, face red and thinking omghewasthinkingaboutmethewholetime

And then he just tells Durbe to shut up, because he needs to kiss him so bad right now.

Please I need someone to write this out, they’re so important to meeee 😭😭

Since it was already late afternoon, the Chamber was almost empty. Everyone must’ve gone during the past few days. The only ones who were present were him, the Headmaster, Ortho and...Malleus Draconia, although he was already on his way through the magic mirror. Idia cringed at himself when he realised his hand was raised. Did he try to wave at another person? At Malleus Draconia? Remember what happened the last time you wanted to make friends? Didn't you vow you'd never do that ever again?!

With his gaze averted as farther from where Malleus Draconia was as possible, Idia gestures at Ortho to go ahead.

However, he could not completely get rid of the thought who it was he just saw, and he feels his chest tighten just a little bit.

My favourite Duel in the Series by far is Vector vs. Durbe and Merag

Because

1. Vector‘s Expressions and lines are the best as always

2. We get a cool magical girl transformation for Merag

3. We get to see Merag‘s and Nasch‘s Bond with Durbe a bit more! Because this is one of the only time we have seen such raw Emotion on them! When Durbe sacrificed himself we saw the heartbreak in their eyes Like Nasch‘s Reaction is just pure fuel for my Tomoshipping Fire

4. And of course the heartbreaking farewell of the twins

I just love this duel, because we see so much emotion from Nasch and Merag, NOT Ryouga and Rio!

They are fighting for Barian World and are shedding tears, when their longest and most loyal friend Durbe dies, which tells us so much about their bond BEFORE their time as Rio and Ryouga

And that’s exactly what I want!

Give me more Infos about their Relationship with the other Barians!

It's @ygobigbang time!

I got to participate in the Yu-Gi-Oh Big Bang this year and it was super duper awesome! Alongside @galaxygirl-katie27 (who drew another piece! go check it out <3), I drew two moments from @seventhdoctor's amazing GX fic When I See You Again.

Summary: As a child, Judai ran away from home before his memories were ever wiped and reunited with Yubel in Professor Cobra's care. He promised to never let anything separate them again, and spent his teen years in America as Cobra's second son. Now in his final year of school, Judai returns to Japan to visit Duel Academia as the West campus's champion. He's got plans to have a good time and help his father make a statement at the central campus with the Disclosure Duel system, but he doesn't know that his spirit partner, still corrupted by the Light of Destruction, has plans of their own - and that several other people's agendas involve him and Yubel, too. The two partners must let go of old illusions before they can look at each other with clear eyes and meet on the same page.
