Tumbling Some Rocks

I bought a rock tumbler a few years ago, but never really used it, so Saturday, I took it out of the shed, put some rocks in it, and turned it on.

Before I brought the tumbler out, I went to a nearby river to find some rocks, and found more than I was looking for. When I placed the shovel in the mud to see what could be found, a nice piece of petrified wood was found. That surprised me. Later I found out petrified wood is common in Washington.

Next time I look for rocks (tomorrow) I want to find Jade and Agate, which will look good once they are tumbled.
