they also might not be giants. let's not get our hopes up
My theory is that ghosts get their energy by sucking the oil out of door hinges. That's how you know a place is haunted. Because the doors creak, even if you've just oiled them. The ghosts suck the oil out.
ADHD and autism spectrum is funny in a way that isn't funny. Like hello, welcome to society, your brain is hardwired to function the most efficiently within certain parameters you'll almost never end up in. You're either so good at switching subjects that other people don't enjoy talking with you, or you're so good at sticking to the same subject that other people don't enjoy talking with you. Fuck you and good luck.
if you’re an ADHD person reading one of my #actuallyautistic posts and wondering ‘do my experiences count for this’ the answer is basically always: ‘if you think they do, then absolutely!’
there is a huge overlap between ADHD and autistic experiences (I’m diagnosed with both). please feel free to relate however you want and add whatever tags feel relevant to you.
(also, you don’t need to have autism or ADHD to relate to my posts on those topics. my whole goal is to educate people by describing my experiences & symptoms in a relatable way. relating to autistic and adhd people is good! it is so much better than the opposite.)
ideal gender: children’s cartoon villain who is intimidating for their first couple of appearances but afterwards is just treated with mild exasperation slowly morphing into a grudging fondness
I am apparently working on becoming a local cryptid at the store. Talents include:
Monitoring the changing of the seasons via mozzarella
Predicting the weather by picking up a piece of cheese and mysteriously saying “oh, the storm is gonna be bigger than we thought...” just before thunder
Mind reading, e.g. “Can you help me find a cheese? It’s called, uh... [starts fishing out shopping list]” “Gruyere?” “...yes O_o”
“If autism isn’t caused by environmental factors and is natural why didn’t we ever see it in the past?”
We did, except it wasn’t called autism it was called “Little Jonathan is a r*tarded halfwit who bangs his head on things and can’t speak so we’re taking him into the middle of the cold dark forest and leaving him there to die.”
