IF HELLO KITTY APPEARED IN 1974. AND THE SMILING CRITTERS AT THE 1990s. THEY WOULD BE 16 YEARS APART. WHICH IS HOW OLD I AM WITH MY YOUNGEST SISTER. IT'S TOO MUCH OF A COINCIDENCE.
