BECAUSE, THEY THINK THERE FUCKING RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING.

Science should be “wrong” about lots of things. This is a feature, not a bug. It’s a flexible network of ongoing processes to established best guesses based on available evidence.

Some of that will be wildly wrong. It doesn’t mean that “science” is wrong. The method is fine. As we get more evidence, we will nail together more reliable theories.

All of that is still objectively superior to “god did it”. After all, as Christopher Hitchens pointed out, there has never been a scientific explanation that was later replaced with a religious one, although it happens the other way around all the time.
