It took me a while to realize what Hunter meant when he said this to Echo. I was rewatching Clone Wars season 7 and I gasped--
Hunter basically said that Echo's welcome to come back to them. That he has a place in their squad, their family, even if he has a different path ššš
Wanted to make an appreciation drawing of two of my fav troopers
App: Procreate
will i ever stop finding posts to match the clones? probably notšŗ
Presenting the cops with a very special guestā¤ļø This project hasnāt been progressing as much as I want it to lately, partly because my regular job is taking all my time and energy, plus, Iām struggling to keep up my motivation. I have so many other great ideas I'd love to start working on, and I also really wanna start doing commissions too, but canāt until this project is about 90% finished. With all that, Iām not going to lie, finishing this has been a struggle. But hey, at least another one is down, which means only the 212th is left (then comes another struggle with the trailer animationš)
Here's one for Tech

Hera: Kanan, my friend is coming over.
Kanan: Thatās great. Who?
Hera: Sheās part of the rebellion. Sheās a clone named Omega. When I was younger, she and her brothers rescued me. They were called the bad batch
Kanan *eyes twitching violently as he gets traumatic flashbacks*: the WHAT
Perry the platypus and Tech are the same person
One of the funny things about Rex and Omega being in the Rebellion at the same time is that they could have any number of conversations that basically are this:
Omega: *does something impressive and chaotic to help people and to fight against the Empire*
Rex: *deliberate breathing as heās watching her do this, knowing heās the only person who knows how she got those skills (and from whom)*
Omega: *gets hurt or does something that has the absolute slightest chance of giving Hunter (aka Stressed Protective Dad) heart palpitations if or when he finds out*
Rex: *sighs* Okay, on a scale from āCrosshairās Pabu Meditationsā to āEscape From Tantiss 2: Zillo Beast Electric Boogaloo,ā how much lying am I going to have to do to keep your brother from needing medical attention and/or coming out here to read us both the Riot Act?
Omega: Do you want the sanitary version, the Echo version, or the Bad Batch version of the truth?
Rex: Iām getting too old for this.
Rex: *proceeds to cover for Omega anyway when Hunter asks because sheās his sister and they bonded over Blond Shenanigans a while back*
Omega: Thanks, Rex! (Iāll tell you the real story after you talk to Hunter.)
Crosshair has always been severe and unyielding. It is his nature. You cannot change that. He cannot change that.
Crosshair being a big brother

Tech would have been so excited to take Pheeās last name
except the problem was, the rest of the Bad Batch took it, too.
It started with Omega. She was out shopping with Tech for one thing or other when he introduced himself as āTech Genoaā and she just got so excited and bounced up and down and exclaimed, āAnd Iām Omega Genoa!ā And it wasnāt really the time to correct her, except then Wrecker picked up on it and he got so excited because āthatās right, we get a last name now!!ā And they just run around the house screaming āOmega Genoaā and āWrecker Genoaā while a flabbergasted Tech tries to find a tactful way to explain that actually only he gets the last name.
Hunter and Echo of course know how the last name thing works, but they also thinks itās hilarious, so they start using it, too. First just as a joke around the house, but then it just kinda starts to roll off the tongue, and admittedly, itās kinda nice having two halves of a name instead of just one. Crosshair thinks the whole thing is absurd, until someone new in town asks him which family he belongs to and he just scoffs and says, āGenoa, obviously,ā and he started using it after that.
And that is why Phee came home from an expedition two weeks later to see a hand carved sign on the front of the Batchās door that reads āThe Genoasā and an extremely exasperated but endeared Tech.
